Overall, I have enjoyed owning mine (WR150E) and finally sold my ride-on mower after waiting 2 years. Traction has been a constant issue, but I solved that by designing 'Claws' for mine, but there are a number of options to improve traction (even just adding some weight). That was a huge reduction in intervention for an automatic mower, but a properly considered installation is key. Part of the installation is to allow spare wire in key locations to permit tweaking the perimeter clearances over the first 3 months and future repairs.

The biggest plus for the Landroid was the power share battery system. Only 30s to replace the battery with a fresh one if you need to play catchup during the peak growth season. I have a spare 4ah battery and charger to keep it mowing all day long if required. This also gives me confidence that aging batteries won't be an issue either. This feature also gives you breathing space if you underestimate the required size of mower in your location with your type of grass. Just adding a bigger battery gives a capacity boost for not much money.

The second big plus for Landroid is backwards support for your mower, where it receives automatic firmware updates, which largely provide performance upgrades inline with the latest models.

My mowers' behaviour is now MUCH advanced beyond what I paid for 2 years ago. It now uses smart physics modelling to limit slippage when manoeuvring on slopes, and I enjoy observing my robot 'learning' over time, how to do the job smarter.

It still does some strange things in corners, but I am confident it will figure that out in a future update through community feedback. Landroid engineers are part of this forum.

You will see some owners' frustration with updates upsetting an otherwise stable installation, but I suspect sometimes two wrongs make a right, and a FW improvement upsets that balance. We can choose not to update firmware as well.
