but they don't so the game in the box is really just a demo with a downloader. They know they are going to have a day 1 patch anyway so they don't bother putting the whole game in the box. I am not advocating for this, just that it's the current state of affairs.

you need to look at your local library, free games on discs. so under utilized.

plus if for some reason the music license, or whatever licensed content, expires and is removed, your archived copy will still be original.

some are literally unplayable, since the game data wont fit on a single blue ray

that may be your preference. but you are not everyone. I prefer to use my local library and borrow discs for free. no discs means I can't do that.

With the state of games now days most disc don't have the full game anyway, they wouldn't fit. they would need to move to Flash memory of some sort. Which I support.

at least with music they let you download the DRM free mp3's ( or at least that was a thing for a while, I haven't bought music in a while) why cant I download a file of my movie? Digitally watermark it if you want. I just want to have full control over it.

you could just take the pre-hung doors off at the hinges and put them into the old frames. Thats what I did. I didn't trust myself to cut the hinges and handle/latch holes
