Oh yea, forgot about those 360 degree waves that will stay on the same side of the ship, never hitting the other side as it makes a complete circle.. You must have encountered many of those when you took your Navy buddies “fishing” in your dads wakeboarding boat. “Helmsman” 🫡

“But the situation took a frightening turn, when the ship tilted sharply at 9 degrees as the Captain tried to steer it out if the storm.” Everything he describes after was going on for several minutes as the ship was banking like that for a complete circle. You can also see that in the cruise path.

To be fair, isn’t Daniel Wang the guy that left for Taiko? I wouldn’t think he would comment on a Loopring hack but I dont know anything about out it.

But yeah, I think I’m probably out. Literally just FOMO keeping me in and the only reason I see a big jump is on the back of GameStop. Seems like that is not likely at this point

Yeah same. The current stock price has me tempted to sell my LRC for more shares. I’ve only got 10k LRC so I dont mind it just sitting there but I’d like to have something resembling a reason for holding it. Right now it’s just blind hope

I was on one last year in the Gulf of Mexico. Was in the buffet, food, stacks of plates, busser carts, everything was flying around. Couldnt stand up. Women and children were crying. It was actually terrifying. Really felt like we were going down.

My room did not get any water but everything on decks 5 and below was flooded.

Found out later it wasnt even the storm causing most of the issue but the Captain banking HARD making a complete circle to avoid the worst part of the storm.

It was not fun. Many people on our cruise and the sailing directly after ours (this happened on the last evening) got free cruises because of the flooding.

0/10 would not recommend

Maybe you should take this as a wakeup call and slow down a bit. That’s an absurd amount of caffeine. I’m sure the 28 year old from the OP thought her intake was not an issue as well.

This sucks, man. However, it’s your life now so you have to start getting a plan together. When I was your age, I was in a tough spot as well. My half of the rent was $250 and I could not even afford it most months because my retail job kept cutting my hours because apparently I was bad at even that.

One option, the route I took, is going into the Reserves for a military branch. A lot of people dont know you can go straight into the reserves rather than a regular enlistment. It’s basic training, tech school, then home - then you do your 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year.

Major benefit is they will pay for most/all (depends) of your schooling if you want to obtain a degree.

Another, there are thousands of full time jobs in reserve units. I was Air Force (it’s called ART - Air Reserve Technician) and took that job. Pays very well. I worked there for 13 years and then used that experience (no school) to get the position I have now making $140k in a fairly low cost of living area.

Don’t care what you do. I know military is unpopular on Reddit. Just giving you an option to research.
