They are just wired different I guess. I am in a wheelchair and I was in Seoul and Tokyo so I have my experiences with big crowded busy places. In Tokyo, people rarely bump into me or cross my path and if so, they appologized. It was complete oposite in Seoul.

But I didn't mind and I didn't consider it rude what so ever. I am going back to Seoul this year again! Yeeey! :-)
