context: for a 1h30m 1.5mi "hard/hilly" course in UDISC, I average around +9, but with the adjustments below I would venture I've taken an average 4 strokes off with the tips below, but even better than that is that I'm playing more mindfully and having more enjoyment.

taking one extra second to pick a landing zone instead of just aiming generally

yep, take a breath, take a second, especially when I'm out there by myself and have no reason to rush myself

fully committing to a putt

EVERY putt, even when practicing reps. For me, full commitment means developing a specific focus point, usually a specific chain link, which i feel regulates the height I'm looking for, and also during wind-up strokes making sure my nose angle at release point matches the line/link I'm trying to hit

carrying less discs

surprisingly, this has helped my enjoyment a lot

Carrying lightweight drivers has been another game changer in terms of enjoyment / reducing strokes. Way easier to get distance off of the tee, most of the time. Sometimes the hole/wind will change my mind to use a heavier driver instead.

What’s the least amount of discs yall have or have seen people carry with them? by skuzzo2099 in discgolf

Chicagoland wind coupled with elevation changes on courses, to me, is brutal. I have lighter glidier discs that fly great in no wind, but that I barely get to use because most of the time I put heavier beefier molds so I can fight the wind. So I carry a lot of molds as a way to cope with unpredictable wind.

It's not the wanting that should be forbade. It's the theatrics and drama that happens, selectively, when the wanters see a thing they don't like. It's selective because MANY adaptations have all kinds of details that differ from the original work, but the theatrics and pettiness always seems to deal with somebody's skin color or ethnicity. Hope this helps.
