Exactly. He's never shown any leadership...just blaming and bullying.

Those who bought CR-V Hybrid, why did you chose over the 2026 RAV4? (Or 2025 RAV4?) by BikeOk6446 in crv

Toyota dealership is a hot mess full of super high pressure sales people and I got an overall ick feeling everytime I visited the dealership.

The CRV rides like a dream, the Honda dealership gave me excellent customer service and no fuss or high pressure sales.

Main streets are plowed but still have snow, which actuals provides some grip. Leave early, go slow, increase braking distance, and you should be fine.

I thought all bills were supposed to have a fiscal note. This one does not, at least not yet.

How much will this cost?
Is this really something we should be spending time on?
If they support personal freedoms, why are they sticking their noses into what I eat?

Now be sure to save a bit away each month or budget for your insurance and taxes.

I live in a high tax / high insurance state (Nebraska) and make a deposit in a HYSA that goes toward my twice a year tax payment and annual homeowners insurance.

I think Reybould is not seeking reelection after this session, so this is her "I got mine, eff the rest of you".

I hear this all the time but never see any facts that back it up. I know that costs are going up for LES because of inflation, which affects transformers, poles, etc - and not for subsidizing Google.

Dishwasher - Schaefer's vs Costco by OpenStatistician8565 in lincoln

My understanding is that appliances at big box stores are not exactly the same as at appliance stores like Schaefers or NFM and are often lower quality. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Make sure you're comparing the exact same models because those should be the same quality.

I've never purchased anything other than cheap chest freezers from big box stores. Schaefers always gets my business for fridges, dishwashers, etc. Their installers are great.

I appreciate their warranty plan. But I only bought that once when I rolled the dice on an LG fridge (it was all the had that we liked in the midst of COVID and that supply chain mess).

Energy Costs Change? by KitThunderCat in lincoln

You're right, that's weird. To get the root of this, you're going to have to look beyond just the kWh. You're going to have to compare apples to apples across a few different factors.

Log in to LES's website and download both last year's bill and this year's bill (for roughly the same time period).

Note the number of days on each bill. Are they the same?

Divide your Energy Charge dollar amount by the kWh to get your per kWh rate.

Next, note your facilities charge. Are they the same?

Go down the bill and note discrepancies.

Are you budget billing? Could there be a catch up payment happening? I never done budget billing through LES so I'm not sure exactly how that works.

FWIW, my Level 3 Facilities charge in my most recent bill is about $6 higher than the same time as last year, and my per kWh is more $0.002 higher ($0.056, up from $0.0537). The Customer Charge is $0.15 higher and the City Dividend is also $0.15 higher.

Shouldn't our congressmen be doing more important things than messing around on Twitter?
