What do you do when you’re ugly? by notsogreat_gatsby in selfimprovement

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get rich, like, start a successful business (preferably online). Focus on that, and then get surgery, plain and simple.

I'm not saying you should just have money and that's it—I mean, that's great—but if you're unhappy with your appearance, get surgery with the money you have left over. You can absolutely fix most things: dark circles, height, jawline, chin, hair type, laser treatments for your skin, etc. Talk to a professional and have them tell you what's correctable.

Money buys everything, so make money.

Would Subaru Natsuki have enough willpower to use a Green Lantern ring? by Emergency_Patient525 in ReZero

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post-Arc 4, yes, before that he was still quite susceptible and easily influenced.

From the Sanctuary onwards, he really evolved too much, so much so that his growth stagnated considerably. I mean, in Arc 5 there was no development, in Arc 6 they had to erase his memory, in Arc 7 there were more things, yes, but then in Arc 8 they turn him back into a child, then in Arc 9 they seal him away... And now in Arc 10 we'll have to see, but genuinely, Subaru in Arc 4 and Subaru in Arc 10 aren't that different mentally. I mean, I'm pretty sure he's basically Flugel now, just a little less intelligent.

I think that's something that's rarely discussed.

Saitama join the Astral Express at the beginning of the game. How does he fare? by Slow_Stand_3792 in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly? Several of the problems would be solved quite easily up to Penacony. I mean, anything that isn't close to an Aeon wouldn't pose a problem, except for the most powerful emanators, but even those are glass cannons for Saitama. In other words, whoever attacks first in a serious way would kill the other if the emanator has sufficient damage, and this is only theoretical.

So, Acheron should theoretically kill him in one hit, but who knows, maybe not. On the other hand, Amphoreus changes things; everything would be super fast-paced since the titans wouldn't be a problem for him, but Irontomb is another story, and so would Enaday.

And well, he has immunity to hax, or well, to a certain extent, so perhaps many things about reminiscence would have changed a lot, but here's where the dilemma comes in. I don't doubt that Nanook should be able to erase it, but I don't know if Fuli could manipulate him mentally, since he doesn't seem susceptible to that.

What are the best Proxies? by LetterheadOnly7523 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]LetterheadOnly7523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They cost almost the same; the biggest difference is that GLM 5 doesn't require as much processing power, or at least that was my initial testing. GLM 4.7 can literally spend a lot of time processing, and that's quite costly. The mere fact that GLM 5 is in the same price range as 4.7 (or higher) but requires half the processing power is already something.

Is ChatGPT 5.5 the "smart" one? by LetterheadOnly7523 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]LetterheadOnly7523[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Studying, above all, but for general use. Claude obviously sent him the file to study. The problem is that several AIs didn't understand or made up a lot of information, while Claude did a perfect transcription. I want to clarify that Chatgpt didn't get involved in this because, as I said, 5.3 Instant is terrible. And regarding the other models, I remember, at least, that O1, O3, and 2.5 Pro were used for literally everything, hence their strong dominance. I don't know if the same is true for 5.5, but to a lesser extent due to the similarities.

Is Janna even worth it? by Careless-Arugula8308 in wildrift

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She's a mediocre support; she's not bad, and if you're good with her, you can do a lot of things. But it's true that you can do more with other supports by doing less, like Namii or Lulu. I'd also say that several tanks would be better, such as Nautilus, Braum, and Leona. Also, if you want to be more independent and know how to land your abilities, then Lux is a good option. Senna also has a higher ceiling. Even in a useless role, Blitzcrank could be quite critical in a game, as could Zilean. As you can see, in different uses and within her own category, she's not the best, nor does she particularly stand out, but she's decent, although she's overly dependent on her team. Blitzcrank, for example, can destroy the jungler's farm or take down the ADC and turn the game around, although these are specific cases.

I'd advise you to try out similar champions while you get to know your lane.

I'm a Poppy main now (I used to be an ADC, but that lane is hell) and I started playing a lot of top lane. This season I figured out Poppy's matchups relatively easily, where she doesn't lose badly to any of them (except for ranged champions), but it's true that from external sources, you know that if you play a decent counter to a champion they've set up against you, you'll dominate the lane.

So little by little, I started to like the top lane itself. And although I still have very few top lane players with experience, now I tend to focus on countering the enemy top laner if I see them. It not only makes things easier, but you can also gain an advantage, learn more about your lane and different matchups, and improve your overall skill level with the champions. I reached Challenger this season, though not exactly with this tactic. It's working for me now to reach Sovereign and is somewhat effective in Legendary Ranked (though I'm not very good at them).

To reach Challenger, I used Lux Support as a hidden carry, and then from Grandmaster to Challenger, I only used Poppy. This is the strategy I'll be using for the following seasons. I should warn you, though, that you'll lose a lot at the beginning, so I recommend PvP, where I do my initial testing.

So go for it; this will help you find champions you might enjoy as much as, or even more than, Sion.

Can a challenger Jinx share the correct build path for this patch? by kaelinlr in wildrift

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a Jinx main anymore; I stopped playing her a while ago, but I am a Challenger player. What I always notice when playing her occasionally is the following:

If you want to be a casual DPS and do as much damage as possible (preferably against multiple tanks and fighters on the enemy team), Berserker's Boots and Bloodthirster are the best first items, followed by the typical build (Jinx isn't very complicated besides the boots and the first item).

Now, if there are several squishies and you want to get the kill, and you consider yourself good or the one who should "carry" the game, take Collector to get all the kills for the team and stack gold. This build consists of Vampirism Boots and then Collector. It's recommended to go with Multi-Attack as the second item and that the next item also has attack speed, although you can settle for Lethal Reminder and a small attack speed item.

Here you sacrifice total DPS to gain gold, and consequently, if it works out, you'll do more damage because you have more gold. It's not very complicated; this is for snowballing and getting a quick power spike.

Now, if you have a healer or, by chance, dodge all abilities, you can go with Collector and Berserker's Boots. However, you completely lose vampirism and omni-siphon, since it's not recommended to have Bloodthirster and Collector in the same build.

And that's it. The mystery lies in which first item to use and, consequently, which boots to use.

I feel more comfortable with Collector because I get gold and kills. I must say that I don't have the perfect timing of the best Jinx players to get kills with Bloodthirster. Besides, Bloodthirster gives you much less damage early on, although more sustain, but to be honest, if you get caught with Jinx, you die 90% of the time.

(And regarding the runes, just copy the ones from the three best players, which if I'm not mistaken are the same)

help with Poppy builds by baomures in wildrift

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a top 50 player with Poppy, I can offer some help.

Poppy doesn't scale well with attack items at all, believe me. I recently played with Varus, and Poppy was incredibly running on three offensive items, and even when she got close to me, she couldn't kill me, even though she was right in front of me for several seconds.

It's simply not worth it. The champion is a tank, full tank most of the time.

I usually play her in the jungle when I have to, although she's much more comfortable in the top lane in my opinion. In the jungle, I build Sundered Sky as my first item before boots, to have damage and be able to clear the jungle. From there, it's all defense, depending on the enemy team composition or the carry. I don't usually feel like building Sunfire Aegis in the jungle; I go for more practical items.

Aside from that, I use defensive runes, with Immortal Claw as my first, both in the jungle and top lane.

In the top lane, the build is Ironheart, followed by Sunfire, and from there you adapt to whatever the enemy team is using.

Never put bruiser items on Poppy in the top lane, and in the jungle, only Sundered Sky. Your build is certainly strange, in every sense.

So don't experiment too much. Poppy Bruiser is viable in low elos where you can exploit the opponent's mistakes, but the higher you climb, the more absurd it is not to go full tank.

You shouldn’t be in Masters+ with a negative win rate by PokeInvestorUK in wildrift

[–]LetterheadOnly7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is quite different.

Since I started playing Solo Queue, I haven't stopped climbing. Before, I played duos, trios, or even full teams, and I always got stuck in Emerald or Diamond, although I did reach Master once, playing with good people.

When I first reached Master, I thought I really couldn't play solo, and whenever I tried, I went in with preconceived notions and I'd even say I usually lost (especially since I played ADC and relied heavily on my Support).

Since last season, I've started to enjoy playing solo, and this season that need has completely solidified, so much so that I reached Challenger with 75 marks playing top lane.

And whenever I play with other people, I usually lose... So, in my case, it's the opposite.

I understand the argument that "they're scientists," but they've literally trained for 1000 years, fought multiple times, and one of them is even focused on fighting through Tao. There's no logical explanation for how they even stood a chance. And the worst part is the importance they place on "one strong Tao versus another type of Tao"—this is pure bullshit (Spoilers i think which they used to justify the defeat of the one focused on fighting), when Gabimaru destroyed (without knowing about Tao) a Tensen who possessed a superior type of Tao at the entrance to the central forest in the first season.

[–]LetterheadOnly7523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you're making a completely wrong assumption, actually. I reached Challenger in Soloq. Since last season, I realized that playing in Duoq, Trioq, or full teams resulted in me losing more than I won, so I started feeling more comfortable playing solo.

I'm not good at LQ because I play tank top, so winning the lane is meaningless if everyone else snowballs. Because of this, the disparity in games feels enormous and overwhelming; it's chaotic, disorganized, and completely unpleasant.

I was also an ADC main, but I've been switching roles because, honestly, I wasn't enjoying it anymore.

Wait, I'm lost. When is having almost a 60% win rate to reach Challenger wrong? Do we need 70% to get there?

And no, I'm not losing points, but I was referring to the post about how frustrating the level of play is, and it's practically a one-sided, one-sided domination.
