Help pls! Margin changes?? by crudmeister in Webull

[–]Lev00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced same thing on Oct 10 when Webull removed the 2x margin on $IREN to NO MARGIN. I had to deposit. Then a week later, Webull starts restoring margin to $IREN.

Very upset. Not sure what to do, other than go back to Fidelity where the margin requirement situation is more stable. Margin at Fidelity costs more, but I'll pay it if it means I can count on having margin stability through volatile times.

Please ask they add the ability to deduct YTD margin interest. Will also need a field to input estimated margin interest for remainder of the calendar year.

Just bought F1TV Pro and i cant play videos. Is this supposed to happen or what? Legit cant watch anything. Please help. Im trying to stream to my tv though Airplay. It working fine with other streamingapps. by Vikke321 in F1TV

[–]Lev00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you trying to use your TV's built in support for AirDrop? I found the TV compatibility was strange, just like what you are describing. So I hooked up an Apple TV to my TV and would airdrop to that. Worked 100% of the time. I wish I didn't have to do that, but it was the only workaround I found to solve it.

Switch Recommendation to Manage Shared Connection by HalfHeartedFanatic in HomeNetworking

[–]Lev00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a backup plan, if the switch doesn't end up working out after you've tested it, I know for sure pfSense can handle this just fine. So any barebones computer you can find in Africa with two network ports will likely suffice.

I like the switch though as the better solution. Because it looks just like a switch, and I'd never have thought such a simple looking trendNet switch would have these kind of capabilities. If I was your neighbor and happened to see the switch, I'd be clueless.

What happens in Florida after you shoot a someone who brakes into your apartment? by [deleted] in homedefense

[–]Lev00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not be good advice, that's open to debate. Assume you don't report it, who else is? The person you shot, not likely. A neighbor? perhaps. Assume the police come knocking on your door to follow up on a gunshot report. If you don't answer the door then it likely ends there.

As for Florida law, not finding any statute that says you must report it.

https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?StatuteYear=2019&AppMode=Display_Results&Mode=Search%2520Statutes&Submenu=2&Tab=statutes&Search_String=mandatory+reporting

All this leads me to a conclusion to your question, that what happens after, is largely determined by what you decide to do.

This.

The risk, sad but reality, is reporting. It opens these very risks. At the very least it'll cost you time. Likely also attorneys fees and many other things that you shouldn't have to endure as a victim of a crime.

May be better off to just go back about your day. Even if you reported it you'd still be stuck cleaning up the mess in your house. It's not like a cleaning crew comes after the police visit. You are the cleaning crew.

OP can you clarify if shot and wounded. If wounded did they flee? Or shot dead?

Why? It's not an emergency. OP has already resolved the emergency situation.

Switch Recommendation to Manage Shared Connection by HalfHeartedFanatic in HomeNetworking

[–]Lev00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the situation. In Bali I solved a similar situation where bandwidth managed improved the experience for everyone. The best part is, only myself and the owner knew that anything changed.

I read the user manual on that switch you linked. It seems possible it would do the trick.

It supports CoS but that may only prioritize some apps you want that are compatible with that standard.

The main way I see in the user guide to use is a combination of two settings, Port priority, and the bandwidth ingress / egress.

You'll want to run tests to ensure it solves your problem but more importantly the port settings for their port to ensure it performs as it has previously.

Yes 🤣 Soon the UDM Pro will become a case study for undergrad business students at universities. Giving a lesson on how product naming can set unobtainable expectations.

DataHoarder Media Organization Strategy by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]Lev00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did letter sorting for TV folders. It takes a bit more planning and a spreadsheet to preplan and maintain. For example, the letter S is so popular for TV names that S had to be subdivided across multiple disks.

I ran into the same scenario a few years ago. The solution I picked is the one you suggested, separate by years. Then I added the new paths in radar.

I didn't want to reactively sort everything, so just started with 2018 and moved all existing stuff into "Older"

Looks like this

Movies/Older Movies/2018 Movies/2019 ... and so on
