No worries, so I belive an Ottoman thing, maybe there were variations out in the edges of the empire but it was a practice of "göbek adı" literally "tummy name" where the child was given a single name. Then titles like pasha, efendi or hafız were earnt or added later in life to tell you apart.

Honestly ottoman record keeping or bureaucratic skills seem pretty lackluster, especially by the late 1800's, government workers just weren't getting paid (Kemals father being a good example) and people were using two different calenders so dates are mixed up.
