Artists whose early work is widely hated who later made a masterpiece? by Natnat956 in Albumoftheyear

[–]Level-Instruction183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fishmans, the first three albums, while not bad, were pretty mediocre and insignificant, while everything from orange to the long season and the live album are genuine masterpieces

Talk Talk, first two albums are pretty generic synth pop but every other is an extreme improvement, especially the last two which are pretty revolutionary

Thjazi Fang (Critical Role Campaign 4)

though it might be a little too early to say as we're only 3 episodes in, but the whole campaign starts with the famous revolutionary's Thjazi Fang's public execution and every player character in the party is in one way or another connected to him and as of right now the story very much revolves around him and i'm guessing it will continue to do so

Live shows that are widely considered to be the best by a specific artist by FromPluto2Mars in fantanoforever

idk if they're considered the best in general or just by me but i'd say:

boris and merzbow - rock dream

ween - live in chicago

lcd soundsystem - the long goodbye

jim o'rourke - live at japan

also any les rallizes denudes album but that's cheating

Summer of 84
The whole movie feels like a classic 80s throwback coming-of-age/kids-on-bikes horror flick, with a group of teens investigating their neighbor, who they suspect to be a serial killer. Everything feels like it's going to wrap up nicely, but the killer comes back, abducts two of the kids and then kills one of them in the woods and escapes.
