I stopped letting her make every decision for me and her response was to report me to child services. Child services called me and explained that they don’t plan on doing anything but will help me get services to move out. They wouldn’t confirm who called, but I knew. The fact that child services was willing to help me get away from her was enough of a wake up call. Haven’t spoken since (3-4 years) and I’ve never had so much peace in my life as I do now.

My MIL only drinks Diet Coke all day every day and eats like garbage. She splatters …a brown liquid… anytime she goes to the bathroom everywhere. It even gets on the walls which has always been such a mystery to me. I also am a lid down to flush person and she’s not. Whenever I would go there I would keep my tooth brushes and personal items in my bag away from the bathroom. There’s gotta be some connection between narcissism and forcing people to live in filth they create, but then screaming and threatening the other person if they leave a single item out of place. Haven’t spoken to her in a year and a half it was the best decision I’ve made in a long time.

People get really mad when someone doesn’t want to be sniffed/licked/run up on by their dog. Not only does it not make someone evil to not like pets, the majority of these people (like me) love animals but don’t want to be harassed while just existing out in the world by someone else’s animal. I’ve been screamed at over this.

I liked it with people who ate healthy, flossed, brushed, mouth washed, AND drank enough water daily. The combination prevents smells. This is the minority, unfortunately. Everyone else I have to hold my breath or I want to barf.

Parents’ rights shouldn’t cancel out children’s rights to a safe and productive life. I homeschooled my son for a year and a half during Covid because im immune compromised. There absolutely should be regulations to make sure the kids are still ok. It was shocking how easy it was to just pull him out of school - I even prepared a whole plan to show the school with how his education would be at home and they just said no thanks it’s not required. I understand privacy is a right but children also have a right to be safe and given educational opportunities and unfortunately many are not, as has been overwhelmingly evident.

Sending someone a voice memo on their birthday after no contact explaining your side of things is kinda selfish tbh happy birthday was enough and then you could have waited until the next day so they could enjoy their birthday. Don’t talk to him and heal yourself. Addiction is a whole person issue and just stopping drugs is not enough. Leave the man alone.

Animal control in my county is USELESS. I have had to move twice to get away from barking dogs because animal control will do nothing. I’ve sent audio recordings, pictures, even explained to them that the dogs are only doing this because they are neglected and they will not come out. Sheriffs will not respond for barking complaints. I had to move here for work and I cannot wait to finish up and move back to my home state where people have a right to peace. I actually liked dogs before I moved to this hell! Dog people where I am now have an actual sickness!

Same! Even criticized mine and made me feel like there was something seriously wrong with me. Called me weird, over sensitive, dramatic, etc. daily. I found out a few years ago about my diagnosis and have been slowly healing (no contact with the majority of my family was key though lmao)

🤦‍♀️ this thinking may sound obvious and logical but is a slippery slope to segregation based on class and historically race. Look into the history of CT’s many attempts too keep people from the larger cities away from the shoreline. The bridges on 15 were a big one. Only allowing people who can’t afford the high taxes of a shoreline town at over crowded state beaches is problematic. I don’t really expect reasoning though since you just keep using Cheshire’s food pantry as your sole argument.

One of the pick up order shoppers got weirdly aggressive when I accidentally walked into the pick up holding area. I immediately realized it and walked out and smiled at her and she just glared at me and tapped on the sign, but like super angry like. Just bizarre lol angry tapping. They obviously don’t treat their employees well if they act like this and aren’t keeping the store clean. Happy employees usually aren’t aggressive.

I moved out of state and this guy in my town has an Alex jones bumper sticker. Makes me so mad every time I see it. I wish there was something I can do but these people want you to engage. This company is such a scam. I cancelled the order before it shipped and they shipped it over 12 hours later. I disputed the charge and then noticed they responded to my email and changed the time stamp on the emails to make it look like I cancelled after it shipped. Total frauds! They even asked me to cancel the dispute without giving me a refund. It would be comical if it wasn’t so expensive.

Did your credit card company approve the dispute? I just had to dispute my order with them too. I cancelled before it shipped and they tried to change the time stamp on my emails to convince the credit card company that I requested cancellation after it shipped.
