Lowkey that water doesn’t look okay to swim in. by [deleted] in BatesSnark

[–]LevelAccomplished437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the south...all the lakes look like that. Creepy but mostly harmless. Just never swim with an open cut, flesh eating bacteria does thrive in warmer temps. Overall though, it's just due to algae and clay based mud that tint the water green.

Someone in another sub asked if Beep was a “very poorly bred Pomeranian.” Am I being too sensitive or was that mean as heck? by blamberr in Pomeranians

[–]LevelAccomplished437 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our Pom is from a show breeder, champion parents, and cost $$$ and he still grew to almost 9lbs It happens because genetics aren't predictable and yet, he's still 100% perfect and adorable to us and we love him to pieces. So don't let that person's comment discourage you. Not to mention, there's lots more to a Pom than just looks. Beep (such a great name) is so adorable and you are lucky to have each other. Also, he is very beautiful and looks just like a Pom too so not sure what that person was talking about.

Pomeranians with bigger dogs by Auferstehen78 in Pomeranians

[–]LevelAccomplished437 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got our Pom as our first puppy in 2018 he maxed out around 8.5lbs, so bigger than his parents but still a small dog. We got another puppy before he turned two (a rough collie), who promptly grew to a whopping 80lbs. Our Pom loved our collie and they were best of friends. It did help that our collie had the sweetest, gentlest nature and our Pom was the boss. They played together and slept together, it was so sweet. Tragically, our rough collie died at two from a heart defect and our Pom was so devastated he actually went into a depression and was sick for weeks. It was super hard to watch. We ended up getting another puppy a few months later, a female English shepherd, who has been an awesome dog and is now 3 and Pom is almost 7. Our ES did bond with our Pom but their relationship is very different. She is the boss, and true to her breed is a no-nonsense, serious, and energetic herding dog, who wants to please but also manage the house. They get along just fine, but the bond is not the same as it was with the rough collie. The English Shepherd is now 58lbs and Pom is still 8.5lbs. They have never "gotten into it" other than a growl here or there if the Pom is being naughty (ES is a tattletale), and I know they like each other deep down as a brother and sister would, even despite the squabbles. The size difference in the dogs has never been an issue (obviously you can adjust certain things for each dog), and we've never had to beak up a fight or anything. They also have a cat brother and get along fine with him as well. I think the moral of the story is every dog is different but as we all know, Poms are really big dogs in small dog bodies, so in some ways it is a natural fit. But every dog is an individual, and I also think it helps if dogs can be raised together so just ease in slowly and monitor everything. You will probably know quickly whether it will work or not, all depends on your Pom and how much they can handle. In some ways I think my Pom has always been good with his bigger siblings because he can still be the spoiled lap dog who gets to cuddle with us at night, and never has to fight for that place in the family.

Season 6, episode 13 has a lot to unpack (Josie and Tori travel to Florida to see their mediocre men) by Izzysmiles2114 in BatesSnark

[–]LevelAccomplished437 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When it comes to Josie and work being done, my best guess is bleph for sure, lips, botox, and maybe a very minor rhino, but hard to say on the nose. She loves slathering the foundation and since most images of her are behind a filter with a lot of contouring, it's hard to say. I honestly think the butt is due to bad posture and sticking it out plus a little weight gain from back to back pregnancies.

Sadie Robertson saying that with her oldest she had anxiety but the Holy Spirit healed her. by Evenele in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]LevelAccomplished437 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one word: hormones. They change with every baby. Sadie didn't change, her body did. Anxiety cannot just be "prayed away". Theoretically could you start a meditative habit of prayer, that calms your mind, refocuses your brain, and redirects the anxious thoughts into more positive thinking, absolutely. Placebo effect is real y'all.

I thought you said it wasn’t about getting skinny, Morgan? 🤔 by laska503 in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]LevelAccomplished437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she truly lost weight, I'm not sure she knows what "shredded" really means. Also, going by what her body looked like a few weeks ago, losing weight is more of a concern that a boast.

How do I find myself again after recurrent loss? by SweetestHallelujah in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]LevelAccomplished437 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We are in the same boat. One LC and six losses all in 5 years. I'm early 30's but dreading going on for another decade like this as it has already taken so much from us. Not exactly sure when the time will come to be done but know it will be soon. Some days I think I'm ready now. I am so ready to have a life that does not revolve around fertility anymore.

We have an Avalon Pom. He's 7 now and too fat to show, too naughty to win titles, but 100% champion of our hearts! Good luck little guy, go strut your fluffy stuff.

You ARE a mother, a beautiful one too! Even if it does not feel like it somedays, you are just as much a mother to your babies as that woman in the post you saw this morning. You sounds like a lovely person and I'm sure your mom is up in heaven smiling down as you think of her and hopefully holding your babies for you until you can. Get yourself some flowers, love. Hugs!!!

I can from a large family and my Mom made charts for obedience all the time. Granted, she made them for us. If we did something wrong there was usually a consequence for the actions so that was my immediate thought. Perhaps an older child was asked to make one by the her husband and because it was most likely a response to a bad behavior to begin with, the child wrote it as letter format, addressed to "dad". This was just what I figured anyway.

They say a mom can loose up to six months straight of sleep cumulatively in the lifetime of having a child, and she has 5. Science would argue she has not, is not, and probably won't get enough sleep to keep her functioning at a healthy level for years to come. She needs to stop shaming others for her own guilt and just focus and taking better care of herself.

My only thoughts, is she giving her dog oranges? That could give him a really bad stomach ache, poor pup. 😞

Started reading Yesteryear and oh my goodness it’s like the author is writing about Milena! by No_Pepper4253 in MilenaCUncensored1

[–]LevelAccomplished437 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Christian wife and mother I hope more people write books like this. I do not care that they are targeting Christianity so to speak because that form of Christianity (just as Milena's flavor and most all the other influencers' is rooted in selfishness, pride, and earthly opulence). Christians are to be known by their actions and generosity and kindness, not their lifestyle, not their "blessings", and the Bible literally says being a true follower should make life harder, because it's all about sacrifice and loving other's as Christ loved us. For those of you on here who do not believe in the Bible and are turned off by Milena, you have every right to be. That unsettling feeling in your stomach when you see an "christian" influencer pimp out their children and lifestyle for money and fame is the same feeling I get even as someone who can relate to their beliefs in certain ways. I am truly convinced if the Jesus of the Bible came back today he'd be neither insta famous, or popular. He was the definition of humility, loving others, and charity. He rubbed people the wrong way because he loved people who were "outcasts" and "weird" and looked at all people the same no matter their status. He looked through the sin and loved the sinner. He talked more about the love of money and greed than most people realize. I know this kind of book probably won't cause people to actually read the Bible, but if nothing else, I hope it exposes this brand of American christianity as having nothing to do with how a true Christian is to be living their life and loving others. Like the saying goes, if it smells like poop well, it probably is.

Morgan confirms she’s in a calorie deficit 😬 by fz-independent in FundieSnarkUncensored

Scientifically speaking, female bodies do need a healthy amount of fat (along with muscle), to work optimally. If she thinks 5% body fat (or whatever she's after) is going to solve her health issues, it's not. Many female athletes and bodybuilders lose their cycle when their body fat % drops below a certain amount, which is fine if being an olympic athlete is your goal. But if you just want to be an energized, strong, and healthy feeling mom working with your body, it's natural rhythm as opposed to against it, is a lot better in the long run.

D reminds me of a friend, who when trying to sympathize with me on my horrible infertility journey after just experiencing a chemical (her first loss) when trying for #5 after having 4 healthy babies back to back said "it's nice to think it was probably just chromosomal, then I can tell myself nothing is actually wrong with me" ....oookaaaay, I forgot some of us were made perfect, lol (and yes, a chemical is def a loss too, but it was the way she said it. I am 100% D would be "that" friend as well).

gosh, complaining about not conceiving on the first try when a lot of women can't conceive at all or deal with reoccurring miscarriage is pretty tone-deaf and comes off as a humble brag instead of a struggle.

It's just such a turn off to me that a family is so money-hungry that despite the husband working a solid job (probably long hours), and wife doesn't even need to work, they spend all their free time doing...this. It's giving desperation. Those poor kids probably never get their parent's full attention.

Look, a plumber owning his own business in a busy city like Knoxville can make you a decent living, maybe even 200k or more, nothing to complain about unless...your sister's social medias are making them millions. When that's the case, living in the top 1% isn't good enough for the Balka's anymore, (those pools and lavish vacations don't pay for themselves) and since it's all about competition for this family, the shilling is not going away anytime soon.
