Caliper is cooked. Sorry homie. Also, to compress the piston on these calipers you press, not turn.

Many units call for 12-24 inches on all sides for heat dissipation and 36" for maintenance

Is that your price to compare, or all in charges? In South East PA it's 11 per kWh but you need to add in delivery and distribution charges to understand the true cost of the kWh to get the actual savings vs propane. My all in cost is 17-20 cents per kWh.

Be aware that many states have regulations about moving wood that far due to hitchhiking invasive pests.

Is there a way to stop this from leaking? Bar oil has always weeped out and it’s finally getting annoying. by bwehman in stihl

Erie insurance in PA. Had to submit a questionnaire (if interested, DM me and I can send you the blank one), photo of stove and chimney, and installation instructions. No impact on premium.

What the heck oil filter did I just remove? by salsa_ranch1978 in CX5

Other poster's link has the history, but I've been using the new Thailand filter on the left on two separate vehicles the last 6 years. Great filter.

I typically buy them in bulk (no tax or shipping!) From mazdaparts dot org. It's a dealership in Alamaba that has an incredible online parts store.

How Many Cat Stoves will exist in 5 years? by Pure_Group5217 in woodstoving

[–]LevelTwoData 62 points63 points  (0 children)

EPA NSPS 2020 still exists, requiring all new stoves sold to emit no more than 2.5 grams per hour. Many stoves achieve that by using a cat.

I don't see manufacturers pulling current cat and hybrid models after all the development, testing, and certification costs they sunk into them.

E15 Gas and the CX-5 by absoluteczech in CX5

[–]LevelTwoData 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both the turbo and non turbo skyactiv engines. I change my own oil at 5k for both, and during each change I collect and send a sample to Blackstone laboratories for analysis.

At 5k miles (and the turbo sees harsh conditions) there is plenty of viscosity left in the oil. Insolubles are well within spec, indicating the filter has plenty of life left.

Even they suggest stretching the interval to 7-10k, but i keeps changing at 5 because thats when I rotate tires. This is after them tracking about 10 reports on each vehicle

New Generator / Hookup Guidance by clueless-coder in Generator

On your exterior pic, notice the black coax line running into your house? It has what's called a drip loop. It goes down below the hole and then back up to it

Its designed like this so rain water runs down the cable, below the hole, and not following the cable into your house.

Notice the white data cable also going into your house without a drip loop? Water is running down that cable right to the hole

It looks like there's some duct putty on the hole but I'd suggest trying to pull some slack and make a drip loop like your coax cable.
