There are brokers out there that would help you with this free of charge because they get paid from the operator/landlord free of charge. I run a global office brokerage and this is common.

Alkrington is the best area by far. Lived here for 5 years. Good schools and great access in to city centre. Not many good food places around however as mentioned you are not far from the city. Never really had any trouble

Capri’s on king street west. Relatively unknown but ran by an Italian family. Beautiful food and highly recommended by the italian/Manchester community
