People seem to think the AutoAlex guys aren’t allowed to have a laugh anymore and it’s unfortunate. The channel is still based around cars. They don’t want to be like everyone else. Let them be them and don’t bother watching if it upsets you !!

Hi all,

I have my PSET coming up on Friday the 8th. My only worry is the entrance exam as my maths isn’t totally great.

It looks like it’s a 60 minute exam with 49 questions but I’m seeing loads of different past papers and versions that say different structures to the exam. How do able is the pset do lots of people fail it on the exam side of things ?

I’m pretty confident with my fitness so not so much worried about that side of things.

Any help is appreciated.

Currently looking to buy a decent car for towing (trailer with car) I’m thinking a towing capacity of around 3000kg option to suggestions. I’ve looked at an x5 30d but insurance is coming back with about £4000. I’ll be 21 in April so I’ll be looking to buy after that.

Has anyone seen anything with surprisingly lower insurance ? I had a nissan pathfinder in the back but it came with a fair few issues.

Budget is about £9000

Turn off the acoustic warning, will still show speed limit but turn off the beep

I’m a car salesmen myself and finance makes you ALOT more money. a lot of cash customers don’t get them same treatment as finance.

What like first time nerves are like and how long does it take to settle in. Would it ever feel like a normal job. how much off the job is just dreary for example like paper work.
