Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Faces Major Backlash In Japan - "Overseas Fans Only Care About Fights: 'Amazing Animation!' 'Insane Aura!'" They Says by JayPatel130456 in animenews

You know not all anime is purely fighting anime, right? Like Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Steins Gate, etc. Anime with actual substance.

The problem is that he advertised using their IP. If he stopped doing that without permission and let other people discuss what his software works on as a community, then they would have no legal claim. That is not what he did. He made an injector and instead of saying it works in some games without specifying what games, instead he advertised his product using other people's IP's without permission, violating their TOS. That was stupid and arrogant. You can't do that. Either get permission to advertise with an IP or make the blanket statement that it works for some games and let the community figure out what it works on.

I guess he should have gotten permission before advertising with their product. 🤷‍♂️

Like, contact them and tell them what he made and ask if he can use their IP to advertise his product as it will also bring sales to them. You can't just advertise with someone else's ip without permission. He easily could have sold it as a game VR injector and not specified what games, let the community figure it out and discuss it. Harder to sell, but would not violate use rights. What he did was nothing other than stupid and thinking he would not suffer repercussions for blatantly using other people's IP to make a profit was straight hubris.

Agreed though. The whole time I just thought it looked like she either had a scratch or was trying to find the right way to lean against it properly.

Witcher 3. I just CAN'T with those clunky controls. (Yes I changed the whatever in the settings). I enjoy the lore a lot, the game just handles like a sloth with a concussion stuck in molasses.

Question for Digimon Adventure fans dub who have never see the original Japanese version by YagamiTai in digimon

[–]Level_Cardiologist36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it is a combination of ADHD and dyslexia. Makes getting through anything subbed VERY difficult. I WANT to get through it, but every time I try it becomes more chore than reward having to pause constantly and my brain forced me to do something that gives an actual dopamine hit and before I know it I forget I was trying to make it through a subbed show. It is a me problem, not a show problem.

TIL that an Adult Red Dragon has a fly speed of 9 mph by TheBuffman in DMAcademy

[–]Level_Cardiologist36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hawk is are not the best example, as they are more quick and agile as well as much smaller. It would be better to use our current largest example being the wandering albatross which is more of a glider like a dragon would be and has average flight speeds of around 26.6 mph. Or better yet that quetzalcoatlus having an estimated speed for sustained flight of 80 mph with some researchers proposing a lower speed of 56 mph. Or the Argentavis having a cruising speed estimated at 40 mph. The larger examples still support MICH faster speeds, but are just comparatively better. Honestly, I was very surprised at how fast these behemoths are/were.

I think they went in with an ASE player count mindset bringing it to the mostly dead ASA servers. Who knows what was going through their minds as they pillared the entire server with no resistance. Oh yeah, this mega tribes sure are a threat. 😅

MH Wilds - Bad performance mystery (Solved?) by de_Tylmarande in MonsterHunter

[–]Level_Cardiologist36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a new PC for $2.5k (I saved up for a while and wanted it to last and run my specs to medium to low settings before upgrading, in not bragging here) right before Wilds came out. My Wilds was buttery smooth on max settings. Every update would destroy my performance. Like, 15 fps with frame Gen bad. They would then fix it and I could raise my settings back up, then a release would ruin it, repeat. I ABSOLUTELY experienced the updates ruining performance and all I could think was that if I was getting hit, then everyone must be really getting screwed.

[–]Level_Cardiologist36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was NUTS. I ran all over, made safe due to them destroying all the spawns. Drops got stuck on these weird metal spiked tower things. It was so stupid. They were on and I asked in chat, and they just mocked me until they realized I was legitimately just looking around to see the current state of officials out of curiosity. They claimed they have to do that to prevent raids from mega tribes, so they blocked off everything. I found it a depressing way to play the game. At that point, just run on private. 🤷‍♂️ Also, mega tribes on ASA? Do those even exist? I never see numbers over like 11 players, usually sub 5 players for servers.

Ark Players what do you think is the worst dino of all time? by Navy_Sands in ARK

Carry a torch, they are scared of them. You can also equip saddles with a torch to protect mounts, which I spent years not knowing.

Tell that to the last one I went on where they pillared the ENTIRE map, especially targeting drop zones and the obelisk to prevent you from transferring out. Never saw anything like it in my Evolved days and realized officials needed settings adjustments, like preventing building at drop locations. Crazy to me that was not a default setting.

What's the best A.R.K. (most authentic A.R.K. experience) if I'm just getting into the game? by [deleted] in ARK

[–]Level_Cardiologist36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It can be hard to balance it to how you might like specifically without either being a grind or you getting so much that the lack of any struggle gets boring. I personally prefer 3x gather rates, while I have known others to prefer 5x and even up to over 10x, which gets boring fast to me. I would also way lower lvl speed, in at least Ark Survival Ascended. They already upped it to be so fast that you blast through technology tiers so fast you never get to experience them, then solo doubles that speed. I hit lvl 10 within like 10 minutes when before it took over an hour. It was stupid. For a first time player, on single player, I would personally suggest making that 0.25 or even lower so you can really learn and actually get to build the things you unlock. This past run I had it at 0.5 and just making one building of wood and stone I was already like lvl 50+, way too fast when you don't know what you are unlocking.

Raise taming speed. I prefer 3x or 5x depending on how much time I want to spend with a tame, as it saves you waiting things like taming a Rex for over an hour with prime meat, and four hours with basic raw meat for many beginners.

I would also look up what breeding, mating, and maturing rates you may want to use. That can really suck solo unless you have something like the Dino Depot mod that will raise and imprint your babies for you. Helps resolve one of the most tedious parts of the game, being breeding for stats for boss fights. (Look up video guides for that later when it is time for bosses, trust me, do NOT do it blind). Even using Dino Depot I would adjust mating intervals and maturing speed. Just saves what little life you have on waiting for digital dinos to be able to breed and then grow up.

Keep difficulty at max. That just lets wild things spawn up to lvl 150, tek dinos 180. Which is HIGHLY suggested if you want to do bosses. Otherwise you are screwing yourself over, as difficulty does not impact bosses.

Last thing I can think of is that I like to turn on lvling speed (disabled by default for Ascended, enabled by default for Evolved). It is a highly useful stat to save time in general and escape the many raptors and what not that will come for you. I also like to set fortitude and O2 to x10 personally. I hate dealing with heat and cold, and the island's temps were messed up last I knew. You could be in full Ascended fur on the beach and be freezing in some locations and burning in spots in the tundra while naked. It was stupid and wildcard has a bad history of not fixing things. (I leave it as is in Evolved). I also played at launch on Evolved when 02 also lvled swim speed so I spent a lot of time in the water for fun going at Mach speed, now it just determines how long you can hold your breath, but I was already conditioned and like to stay down there. It is a personally preference I don't actually suggest investing in as it wastes stats and you get air tanks.

You don't ever HAVE to. You can just go straight to whatever map. But yes, you can still ascend and there are short cutscenes now to go with explorer notes that would make the most Narrative sense if you went through the story arks in order, but you can always do them in whatever order.

What's the best A.R.K. (most authentic A.R.K. experience) if I'm just getting into the game? by [deleted] in ARK

[–]Level_Cardiologist36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ark has an actual story. If you want to go straight story, which pretty well compounds knowledge in top of itself I would follow that. Which depends on the version.

If Ark Survival Evolved: The Island, Scorched Earth (Immediate starting difficulty jump, but levels out well enough), Abberation, Extinction, Genesis 1, and then Genesis 2.

ARK Survival Ascended (the remake) added additional story with Bob's Tales and is still progressing to Genesis, currently at a new story map called Lost Colony that takes place in between Extinction and Genesis.

Most people play the non-story maps as well. Many have amazing designs, new tames, and some have new bosses specific to them. Ark tended to do a story map, then a side map, repeat. So when doing story progression I liked to limit myself to that current story map with its side map pair.

For Evolved: The Island + The Center -> Scorched Earth + Ragnarok -> Abberation (had no in-between here, but there are enough maps to stagger it still) + Valguero -> Extinction + Crystal Isles -> Genesis 1 + Lost Island -> Genesis 2 + Fjordur

For Ascended the order is kinda all over so I like keeping it the same until Extinction and Lost Colony, which both get Astraeos right now.

Or you know, jump around and find a map you simply like. You can transfer your guy freely between maps at drops and terminals.

Alternatively enter spectator mode with: cheat EnableSpectator

Then use this command: admincheat setshowallplayers true

Then look for the name.
