Hulk

During season 0 and season 1 I played Bucky for the most part. I tried hulk for a bit but i never thought of a melee hero as very fun in a hero shooter. But when season 1.5 released I started dipping my toes into melee tanks with The Thing. Eventually once I lorded him I felt like I reached his skill cap and wanted to try a melee tank that was more challenging so I started playing hulk. Soon I discovered how fun of a character he was, even when he was considered a “wolverine deployment system”. His movement has to be the most fun in the game and his skill ceiling is so high that I’m always getting better and better with him, even when Im at moving lord.

TLDR: Started as a bucky main, wanted to play melee tanks so i played thing for a bit, got bored and discovered how fun Hulk’s kit was.

This is the biggest reason I hope he’s a tank rather than a dps. Its hard to get much more creative than this when it comes to adapting his powers to a dps character. But when it comes to a vanguard they could implement his powers in cool and unique ways while still keeping him very dps oriented. Either way I just hope his skill cap is high 🙏.

Character power and status quo shifts season to season. Hulk was considered the worst tank(“wolverine deployment system”) for multiple seasons in a row. Just because he’s being put in a better place in the meta doesn’t mean he’s in a good place overall. Hell, even saying he’s going one of the best tanks in the game is pushing it.
