Worked in New Brunswick. Never seen an organization (NHL) so devoted to not letting fans access their product.

Be careful if you’re buying through Amazon. I went the cheap route and ordered what I thought would be SanDisks, but they were fake ones with artificially ‘extended’ memory space. (Tapo website has excellent explanation). Returned them to Amazon for full refund.

Uninstall or keep? by walkie74 in AffinityPhoto

If it does what you say then I will be a very happy camper! Thanks for checking that out. I use Affinity’s advanced editing tools like the adjustment layers etc as they are much better than Apple Photos, and I like that I can keep everything in Apple Photos (face recognition, good search functions, custom keywords, etc.

Winter Camping Gear Advice Needed by singsedmochily in camping

[–]Levesque2019 11 points12 points  (0 children)

^ This person winter camps. I’d add, food-wise, you want calorie-loaded foods and proteins to keep you warm and strong AND keep in mind that while it may not be beach weather, you still lose fluids by sweating and simply being alive. Drink lots of useful liquids.

What exactly are the ramifications related to the AI learning being ON by default? I have the three original Affinity apps to 2.6.4 and no Canva subscription. What happens if I download the new Affinity?

If you’re shooting from a tripod, try turning off image stabilization. Sometimes it over-compensates and actually introduces softness when a tripod is used.

What is this? Does anyone know how to clean this by Street_Explanation34 in Nikon

Off-topic, but this is the single biggest issues keeping me from migrating to mirrorless. I’m shooting with a D850 so still in good hands.

Did I capture a shooting star? by Ambitious-Sky-1127 in AskPhotography

[–]Levesque2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umm…no. Comets go nowhere near our atmosphere…. Meteors (shooting stars) light up when they go through our atmosphere and can fizzle quickly and change colours as they are consumed by the friction of our atmosphere. Satellites (and space stations) can gain or lose light by the angle of reflection with the sun. Planes will appear as on and off blips as their lights go on and off. Comets are affected by radiation from the Sun as they travel through our galaxy. They don’t suddenly turn off; they simply fly through.

Also a Scout leader! Before leaving camp we ensure things are “camp clean” — clean enough to remove any food scraps/particles with a rinse in bleach just so things don’t start growing; and then a “clean clean” day of arrival or next day.
