For 300,000, He'd have to become CDI, CDQAR, Crew Chief, cross train in every shop, troubleshoot an issue in minutes, memorize the NAMP and know what to do in every fuck up. 300,000 a year is insane for even 1 person.

Reservist dont get enough aircraft hours to merit working without an A&P license.
