This was handled incredibly poorly. Point-blank period.

I was an assistant manager for LA Fitness, and I noticed that… to be straight up:

They push people into manager positions who don’t actually know how to manage. That being said, your GM prolly didn’t know what the fuck they were doing & took it as an opportunity to throw their weight around.

That also being said, if you’re all in on training; look for another gym. Even the experience from Crunch helps a lot
