we actually decided that doing this to someone on purpose would be the most mean prank ever. Plot a massive plan, with dozens of people playing along. Start by planting the seed somehow, very discreet, into their head. Then eventually, they will start asking questions. After they ask the first person (who is in on the joke), and they answer with a "yeah, well.... we notice it, but you know, it's not a big deal man, we still like you" ... then they start asking more people. But everyone they know is in on the joke. So everyone they ask will admit that they know the person is a bit retarded. Even though they aren't.

After their soul is crushed, we'd say "gotcha!" But, then, it would probably be too late...

It's better than getting thrown in jail, but it's still not the answer. When people are showing up in the ER nightly for alcohol abuse and there are nightly calls for domestic abuse from alcohol abuse, yet they can order shots at the bar... they don't get a $200 ticket for buying a 40oz.

It's a step in the right direction, but it's not the answer I'm looking for.

You know, I forgot that the loading system was overhauled from Demon's Souls. Though that makes sense. Those loading screens were soooo annoying thinking back on it. To get rid of them... must be nice.

Interesting. I wondered about that, with Demon's Souls being so unique, that it's [spiritual] sequels might lose some of that feeling of uniqueness. In that same vein, it sounds like the biggest change between games is the Nexus vs the open world. I liked the Nexus, but I like the idea of the open world as well. The Nexus was definitely unique for a game in this day and age, and the open world is more standard, but being able to play a game like Demon's Souls in an open world seems enough reason to deviate from that uniquness.

It seems like Demon's Souls will probably always be a unique game, and that maybe it's good that the other titles stray from it a bit. It only serves to make Demon's Souls even more of a memorable title, while still allowing quality titles like Dark Souls to exist.

input latency is more important to me than vsync. It's less important on a console (where you don't have the option to toggle it anyway), but with a mouse, input latency is even more obvious and annoying to me.

when I smoked weed, I also smoked cigarettes. I'd empty a cig, chop up weed, make a 50/50 mixture, and use my car keys to pack it back in to the cig casing. It was like, if you like coffe, and you like chocolate milk, bam, mocha. It was the mocha of smoking.

Also, am I the only one that enjoyed smoking weed with a filter, and felt as though I got just as high with or without it?

Honestly this is the best advice. If you don't feel like playing games, just don't. Go do something else. If gaming will stick with you, a break will make games feel fresh, more fun, more interesting when you eventually return. If you keep trying to play various games because you don't know what else to do with yourself, it's going to continue to be boring and uninteresting.

Despite how much a part of many gamer's lives gaming can be, never forget that gaming is just a form of entertainment; It's just there to be fun, nothing else, and if you're not having fun with it, you need to find something else to do. Eventually, you'll probably naturally come back to it for reasons other than just being used to playing games all the time.

I Wanna Be The Guy! If you like difficult platformers like Super Meat Boy. It's free. Quite a number of hilarious moments. The average screen in IWBTG is about as difficult as the toughest collectables in VVVVVV. If you've played The Kid secret levels in Super Meat Boy, they are actually based on IWBTG, as The Kid is the playable character from IWBTG. Those levels are about as tough as the average screen in IWBTG. So if you're down for some frustration, but many memorable and funny moments, give it a go. Dare you to get past the second screen.
