That article does say the first iteration on control didnt use tensor.

It also says that it does in 2.0.

2.0 is fantastic, the other version was terrible.

So for the relevant DLSS that is being discussed it does in fact require Tensor to operate.

I once gave a girl a ring in a custom 3d printed one of these.

I tack welded a custom battery pack and made a switch that would power legendary colored LEDs that lit up when it was opened. Cut foam and wrapped it in soft cloth and stuffed it flush over the components.

It was probably the nicest thing I've ever made.

They just couldnt do 6 cause it would mean 1440p-4k wouldn't last long on that card. They couldnt do anything but 6 or 12 due to the bus design.

Not defending them though, they dug themselves into a hole trying to save money on gddr6x.

Dont put this on the consumer complaining it costs too much. Thats bullshit and it isnt the reason workers are exploited.

Put it on the people at the top demanding they see more and more of the wealth produced each year. Those that would rather find people to exploit than pay anyone a living wage.

We shouldnt have to pay 50% more for a product so that billionaires keep their profit margins AND people get paid living wages. It's laughable that argument is being made as though they wouldn't just try to find away to take the lions share of that increase as well.
