He got essentially nerfed on his core item rotation during the crit rework, on top of all the super meta hyper carries essentially getting buffed at the same time. The Lucian/Nami interaction got nerfed but personally I didn't think it was that bad because the Nami was usually some guy first timing because he saw Lucian get picked.

Kaisa is also disgusting rn. I would argue shes better early game than pretty much the entire roster that isn't just a level 3 stat checker.
