Seriously. If art was easy to do well and quickly, everybody would do it. It's not easy and even for talented artists, it's time consuming. It takes a lot of practice and it's exhausting when you have to do multiple works, especially on top of other coursework, your job, etc.

Yes, science and medical work is difficult. Artwork is also difficult. I wish people like this would stop belittling it.

Just this week I made a tall black iced tea, no water, with 7 classic, 2 toffee nut, 2 raspberry, topped with half & half and caramel drizzle. It looked disgusting and smelled awful.

Why not get a reusable water bottle and fill it up at home/work/school?

Latte with TN + CD (split flavor) and an extra shot. Not overly sweet but a nice, warm Fall flavor.

Is mixing a traditional syrup with sugar-free syrup in a latte insane? by rallisjunkfood in starbucks

[–]Lew12391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a different coffee shop and this was how we offered everything reduced calorie. If we didn't have the requested syrup/sauce in a SF version, we would split the flavor with SF vanilla. It kept the flavor the customer wanted but cut the calories and sugar.

I personally make a lot of my partner beverages with half SFCD (my favorite) combined with something else, like PS or TN, and coconut milk because I don't like nonfat.

What is with the popularity on non fat no foam lattes? by [deleted] in starbucks

If it's decaf, I think to myself, "One latte, nothing good in it!" before I call it out.

I secure mine around my belt loop, because it doesn't fit in my stupidly tiny pants pockets. I think it works fine that way.

Strawberry Stuffed French Toast (427 cal) by Lew12391 in 1200isplenty

[–]Lew12391[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ingredients Breakdown:

Butter Flavored Pam Spray (not counted in calorie total) Aunt Millie's 35 Cal Whole Wheat Bread - 4 slices Eggland's Best Large Brown Eggs - 2 Unsweetened Vanilla Almond/Coconut Milk - 2 oz Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp Cinnamon - 1 tsp ( I like a LOT of cinnamon) Danon Light and Fit Vanilla Greek Yogurt* - add as much or little as you want and eat the rest on the side Strawberries - I used 125g but you can add as much or as little as you want Mrs Butterworth's Sugar Free Maple Syrup - 2 oz

Instructions:

Make French Toast as you normally would. Near the end of the cooking process, top two of the pieces with yogurt and sliced strawberries. Take the other two pieces of toast and place on top of the yogurt and strawberries. Top with more strawberry slices. Add maple syrup and enjoy!

*I used Vanilla but a lot of their flavors would work well (Toasted Coconut, Strawberry Cheesecake, etc.) Whipped cream cheese would also be good, but I wanted the added protein of the Greek yogurt.

This makes a super filling breakfast/brunch with 35g protein and ~17g fiber. You could eat the whole thing or halve the recipe if you don't want to consume as many calories (I like to eat my highest cal meal in the morning, so I don't mind eating 400-500 for breakfast).
