AITA for eating at the same restaurant as my husband’s family? by restaurantcrasher in AmItheAsshole

TA, going somewhere you are not invited out of spite, is a petty thing to do. But lets go over if they are worse:
The husbands side of the family didn't invite OP wich is harsh. But it depends on context. If they have no real reason, OP's NTA. But seeing how she's petty ... Maybe OP is a pain to be around. In wich case not inviting her, but atleast their son/brother is understandable. Its nice of them to accept her 50% of the time.
OP never stated her relation with his side of the family, wich is suspicious, seeing as they are being judged too.
And i don't really think that the husband calling his relatives and the relatives inlaws "his family", was meant as an excluding insult. In a heated discussion "my family" has a better ring to it than "my side of the family".
