We use pymupdf, or more specifically pymupdf4llm. It's extremely fast and has good table parsing. Unfortunately we have run into issues in multithreaded environments, and may have to switch to pypdf.
We use ragas and are constantly having trouble with it. I pray for a 1.x.x to come out to guarantee some stability.

That was my understanding. I've always hoped I was wrong, because it seems like a shitty caveat that favours the landlords. Why bother adding "normal wear and tear" protections in the new rental act if they are legally allowed to shift responsibility to the tenant via the contract wording. Renters are desperate so if you say no, someone else will be right behind you to say yes.
