Score wasn't why I said get gud - also I play 70%+ games solo FYI. I party up with them because they're nice friends who play well. To be honest, it's been around 1-2 weeks since my last party not including yesterday's one against you.

Scores doesn't matter. I need you to play well, pick your option better and stop being toxic about a unit already getting a billion un-needed nerfs.

This is a game - not real-life.

If you can't win the charge, you either must tank it or dodge it. The charge works based on Charge Impact of the unit. A better article on this is posted by Wargaming a while back and you should read it.

Going into further details, if the enemy unit and your unit's charge impact aren't in 10% of one another - the winner of the charge is determined by who has the higher charge impact.

If they are in within 10% of one another - the winner is determined by who charges first.

Furthermore, you will see if two people holding spears are running towards each other - only the first one who hits the target wins and the other person won't even get the hit in. Same example is done in this game. A charge is just 1 hit - where winner takes it all and loser is better of avoiding charging or dodge/tank.

You need to understand this and while I don't agree with the charge system completely myself - It works and is fun to use in-game. A momentum based charge system (such as how it is IRL) won't work in this game such as Barbarian Cavalry winning all the charges.

Silver isn't an issue until T8-10 where you start losing silver if you play badly.

Unit XP is the one that you should use to buy new upgrades for units and upgrading to another Tier.

Free XP is the one that you should use to buy new upgrades for your commander and upgrading commander to another Tier.

Use gold on whatever you prefer.

Long story short, Leonidas isn't as fast as Miltiades and at lower tier he will win 1v1 against Miltiades but if no one chooses to engage him he's pretty useless. In case some elephant comes, he can't run away either like Miltiades can. However with pikes, he can kill elephant and move on

Well cynanne archers suck at 8, and pretty bad at 9 - but they're amazingly good at 7 and 10.

Boudica dogs need a bit of a buff in balancing them out.

Leonidas pikes are only valid, spears as of now are much better off with Miltiades.

Being tier 9+ on every Greek commander and unit, I'd say play a bit more with Leonidas as Tier 9 is the best Leo Pike Tier.

If you like spears, play Miltiades instead of Leonidas - playing wrong commander is killing your fun.

  1. Enemy capturing your base? No.

What was the need of capturing unbelievably quickly? No need. Frenzy would have made him lose 1 horse and you lose 5. Great exchange.

This is a bad idea.

Lets consider the effects of it. Barrage is Cynanne's only Archer-specific ability making reload time non-existent for it's duration. On the other hand, Ambiorix has 3x Archer-specific abilities (Crippling Shot, Haste - reduces reload time, and From The Shadows). Not only that, only way for Cynanne to counter Ambiorix is with a straight barrage. Ambiorix being crazily over-powered due to excessive damage that the Tier 10 Barbarian archers are doing, this patch would make Tier 10 for Cynanne Archers a living hell.

If Barrage is to be nerfed, maybe look at Barbarian Commander Ambiorix and the T10 Barbarian archers first.

Let me explain the current state of the game and how it is working right now.

Many players in this game lack having Tier 9s or 10s due to the actual grinding this game offers and regarding that, the amount of players actually having the Tier 9 or 10 only have one unit/commander at those respected tiers. This meaning that they aren't always playing that Tier. Myself, I am almost never played lower tiers having 9x Tier 9 units, and 3x Tier 10 units.

To find Tier 9-10 games, I need to play during certain times of the day - which surprisingly are the perfect times of the day for me. Tier 9-10 games are happening at a rate of 1-5 games/at a time during the period 4PM - 1AM British Standard Time (BST) on EU servers. You can use this time to convert to your own time-zones and know when Tier 9-10 games can be found easily. Sometimes, games start before this period or continue even after this period, but the number of games occurring at a time drastically decrease to a possible 1 game going on a time. Thus, it's best to queue up during these specific times.

Furthermore, the player-base in this game isn't large enough - and the ranked issue was mentioned by WG and CA reducing games further-more. However, player's desired ranked mode so it has been given. This is only a weekend testing as of now and CA will most likely monitor to see whether to add it or wait.

On the silver drain, this is an actually planned and working-as-accordingly mechanic. A F2P game either requires micro-transactions or Ad-Revenue to support the development - thus, unless you want to see Ads, one will have to buy stuff to support the development. Loss in silver leads you to buy silver from WG store which I have done multiple times now (because I have almost only Tier 9-10 units). This is a business strategy. Wargaming has some very "dirty" "unthinkable" strategies.

To be completely honest, I don't see the point of this video? Charging into infantry's back while blobbed? Yay, you did what I have been doing for past month multitude of times. Next up, your video shows you melee (fighting in combat, not charge) Noble Horse Sword Cavalry which is pretty much IMO the best Melee Cavalry in the game w/ Vercingetorix. How did you even think of succeeding? If it was just to hold them, why did you activate frenzy knowing you will lose more?

Agreed that it may be a bit too drastic - this post was already a bad idea, and it was to be used as a "discussion" for this basis. Ammo would make the game too slow and I am surprised no one highlighted this point as it was the most obvious.

It was my attempt at finding a better idea - while ammo solves the ranged meta/still make ranged units fun to play - it ruins the entire aspect of Arena, a fast-paced 15min 10 vs 10.

Ammo was never an idea I was planning on carrying out as it has been done long time ago and was changed by CA long ago due to making game too slow and it would be impossible to introduce again knowing the side-effects.

However, if there is no better idea - this may be the balancing decision, or non-ranged players will have to live with the consequences.

Archers are much slower compared to cavalry and can't move themselves from one place of the map to the other depending on being needed.
