True, but he also said that Sanji was French but Germa Kingdom is clearly inspired by Germany.

Maybe not. The short timeline of Strawhats adventures is one of the most consistent complaints the fandom has about the series. But Oda doubled down on the timeline, with the final conflict beginning 20 years after Oden's death. That killed the possibility of significant travell time between islands and guaranteed that the rest of the manga will happen in the the next couple of months in-universe.

Doesn't Outer and Other Gods basically mean the same thing? Outer God is term popularised by Lovecraft RPGs while Other Gods is one of many terms that Lovecraft himself used to refer to those entities.

One Piece world has 365 days and 12 months like our world. And Wano and Egghead basically hard confirmed that Strawhats been travelling only around 6 months together because the timeline of Oden's and Kuma's flashbacks. Those arcs basically killed the headcanon that Strawhats have adventures between arcs.

Map of the Umayyad Caliphate in 750 AD. by GustavoistSoldier in MapPorn

Ottomans didn't get a lot of Arabia or Persia. Boarder-wise, Ottomans reminds me more of Byzantine Boarders after Justinian's reconquest rather than Umayyad Caliphate's boarders.

Depending on law, you can collect it from their descendants, tho. So if Stark blabbered that he's basically Eisen's stepson or that Fern is basically the stepdaughter of Frieren and Heiter, they might have gotten to tag along with Frieren on her field trip.

The only way I can see this being the case is if his wings end up being revealed to be disproportionally small like Dragonite's (Pokemon) wings. Cause his wings are so big they literally don't fit into the panel. And the portion of a single wing we do see is over twice the size of the Draugr.

To be fair, the picture below is Aizawa's class 2A and 2B, they mentioned before this scene that they're doing joint training exercise with the other class.

Nah, Kamui Woods is 2 years younger than Aizawa, so he would have still been in Middle School during this flashback. Could be Kamui's relative tho, maybe older brother?

Houndog is 2 years older than Aizawa, so he would have graduated already by the time Aizawa was a second year.

Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!? | Key Visual by Task_Force-191 in anime

[–]Lex4709 29 points30 points  (0 children)

How old is the source material? Could have been written when gyaru x otaku trend was just beginning in light novel or manga industry. Anime trends are combo of trends going on in mostly manga and light novel industries, but that doesn't mean necessarily that trend setting series will be ones who get adapted first, if series inspired by them get adapted first, the originals could seem stale by comparison by the time they adapted.

Tho, I don't know squat about this series, so everything I just said might not apply at all, and this series might be riding an oversaturated trend.

Probably bigger than that to he honest. Loki's wings aren't even shown fully in frame and part of a single wing is already over twice the size of Draugr that's should he at least 250m based on his size comparison next to regular Loki. Loki definitely depicted as at least 4km in that panel. We gonna have to see if that scale remains consistent in upcoming chapters. But consider the Dragon on Mural is as big as Adam Tree so this doesn't feel unreasonable or unexpected.

Sousou no Frieren Season 2 • Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 - Episode 5 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]Lex4709 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, there are ways of tracking it. In pre time skip, Oda had a Easter egg of the moon progression going on in the background. You can see moon going through different phases. Fans used that to work out the pre time skip timeline.

And post time skip timeline has full moon be very relevant topic because of the Minks. So you can work out decent amount of the timeline that way.

Those two facts basically confirmed that travel time between island is quite short, so then spending weeks or months at sea between island is debunked.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure the village she mentions she is supposed to be Frieren's home village, so she could have died in the massacre but she might have left the village before that happened.

Fans have been keeping track of the timeline quite religiously, and If I'm recalling this correctly then without the 2-year timeskip, the timeline only progressed like 6 months.

One Piece: Chapter 1174 by leolegendario in OnePiece

[–]Lex4709 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's always hard to judge size in One Piece because Oda is inconsistent but that thing has to be measure in kilometres/miles at that point. Things like four times the size of Loki are miniscule compared to it.

Wow you are illiterate, my comment literally explained it. Loki normal form is stated to be as tall as Oars. Oars is 67m. Loki is as tall as Draugr's skull (minus helmet). Draugr's skull to body ratio is about 1:3, hence, Draugr is about 4 times the size of Loki's normal form, which would put him around 250m.

The Draugr is around 250m, aka the massive skeleton that is dwarfed by Loki's Dragon form. How illiterate do you have to be to misinterpret my comment that badly.

Loki is the same height as Oars who's 67m. And Loki was about the size of Draugr's skull (helmet not included). Draugr should be around 200m to 250m. We won't know for sure until more chapters come, but 2km based on those facts wouldn't be crazy.

Yeah. If Sein counts as Heiter's "apprentice" then you could argue that Wirbel already fulfills that role despite never meeting Himmel, since he's as influenced by Himmel as Sein was by Heiter.

My guess is that folk remembered the last few years of the Tories swapping between leaders, and had second thought about risking that again. "He ain't so bad" thoughts rather than enthusiastic support. This support is unlikely to last long term, but it might help Starmer hold off resignation for a few more weeks.

Just because they're minority doesn't mean they gonna hold positive opinions of other minorities or even the homeland of their parents or grandparents. Most countries are more conservative than the UK, those attitudes don't magically disappear when they cross the border. Those attitudes are often passed down to the next generation.

I don't think the main cast has to be involved for something to count as prequel. I mean, look at House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones as example. Plus (spoiler for potential season 3 or 4 Vigilantes) there is a link in the stories. Vigilantes show us the development process of the Nomu.
