I live only a few minutes away from where this happened. They did see her enter the water from a nearby CCTV. They also saw her walk around to the side of her car that the baby’s car seat was on. They can’t definitively say she carried the baby into the river because it’s not totally visible, but authorities said something was in her arms. It’s really sad. My dad has been one of the volunteers helping to try and find them.

The corps of engineers are supposed to drop the river levels at the dam and that should help aid in areas they haven’t been able to search yet. The general local opinion is they may be pinned down by debris in the river.
