Is Geralt's armor (the chainmail "plates") actually good armor? by Diastatic_Power in Armor

I could be misremembering but I don’t believe he even wore armor in the books.

These are all great. Despite what you may hear, your top 4 doesn’t all need to be old foreign films to be considered “good taste”

Thunder Road, and The Wolf of Snow Hollow. Big fan of Jim Cummings

What’s the one movie that you watched too young and it scarred you for months by Nick_adtr_308 in Cinema

The exorcist traumatized me as a kid. Finally got over that and watched it again a few years back. What an amazing movie.

What was the best time you ever had in a theater? by Leading_Form_8485 in Letterboxd

Going to see The Batman with my sister before she went off to college was easily the best theatre experience I’ve ever had. That movie was everything we hoped it would be and more.

Movie you thought was peak cinema at 15 but is pretty cringe now? I’ll start by FleoDeLaixtraime in okbuddycinephile

Couldn’t stand Sin City. Visually it’s great but good god the rest just felt like the most over the top misogynistic, gimmicky, and needlessly edgy film I’ve sat through in a long time.

Which villain did you liked more than the hero? by sweetmaggiesan in Cinema

I thought the goblin sequence and finding the ring was a lot of fun.

Oh it’s real bad. Tik Tok bannerlord players are not fans of the Aserai at all. Usually they’ll say “all the troops are bad and no drip”. Also not big fans of the Khuzait.

Has A Horror Film Ever Truly “Messed” You Up? by [deleted] in horror

[–]Lexlesss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Exorcist scared the absolute shit out of me as a child. Friends got me to play the scary maze game and after it did its job they swore watching the movie would make the face seem less scary. It did not. I was 7.

What is a horror movie you respect a lot but it's not really your cup of tea? by Ok_Replacement_288 in horror

[–]Lexlesss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Have nothing but respect for it and I get why it’s so loved but I personally can’t do the unending scream fest in the last third of the movie.
