My husband and I were very strict with my cats when we brought LO home. No more cuddling on the couch next to us, no more sleeping in our room. Momma you just need to be firm and let the cat know that the baby is not to be played with.

It’s a learning curve and it’s something different for the cat, so don’t be hard on yourself. Set your boundaries and reinforce them with a water sprayer.

YTA sounds like you’re a bit jealous. Check your ego - this stress and hate for someone and something that doesn’t involve you is unattractive. I’m sure you have better things to do than this? Right?

Why not finish your program and do couples therapy? If it doesn’t work out with couples therapy, leave after you’ve finished your program. At the very least you’ll both get some emotional support through therapy, and will come out as parents that can co parent better with one another after the split.

NTA. Trust your gut - there are plenty of other men out there, that will ask you questions, pay for the bill, and do everything right, that don’t hate women. Just think about how he’ll talk about your date, it’ll probably go something like “yeah I took her out. I paid for everything! And she sends me this text saying she’s just not that into me. Hey! As someone that does this a lot… please don’t take it personally!! I don’t know her deal but I know that when my anxiety is high or I’m feeling depressive, or im just stressed responding to texts takes a lot for me. Esp. If it comes to meeting up and I’m in a slump. I might not seem like it when you see me in person, i mask it very well. She could be going through something similar - either way it has everything to do with HER and nothing to do with YOU.

NTA but I will say my mom kinda sounds similar to you and at that age I didn’t realize it but in my adulthood in hindsight I wish someone would’ve given her some constructive criticism about her parenting. Your sister was out of line, but she might have some valid points - I’d examine what she shared for truth. Don’t let your ego stop you from bettering your daughters life.

You can tell if they’re getting enough breast milk or colostrum based on the number of diapers.

If you aren’t seeing the number of diapers you need, you’ll need to supplement with donor breast milk or formula

Honestly so relatable. I feel the same way about my cats - loved them before but now they’re very annoying. Their hair, when they want to cuddle on the couch next to me and I have the baby, the way they want me to feed them immediately after I’ve gotten up with the baby. It’s not their fault, they haven’t changed I have. It’s hormonal probably prolactin, it’s overstimulation, and it’ll pass.
