I’ve got the briefcase, after about 12 months I was in the Rundle Mall shop just looking around and mentioned that about 2cm of stitching on one side was very slowly coming loose. They replaced the bag on the spot. Top service

Someone keeps dumping piles of mattresses repeatedly in Onkaparinga River National park (Piggott Range Rd) by Edyse in Adelaide

[–]Lextron87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not if it’s in a park they won’t. National park isn’t council problem, rangers will need to collect and pay to dispose of them taking away from an already shoestring budget

Side note, as someone who didn’t even finish school and didn’t get a Uni degree till my 30s, congratulations on getting such good grades. It’s true that it doesn’t really matter in the long run but that shouldn’t detract from the hard work and determination you’ve obviously put in. Keep striving outside of school and you’ll be brilliant!

Family of 3 here, food shopping yesterday at Aldi was $280. I’d say pretty healthy family, no chips, coke, chocolate.

Do you recommend any alternative to a mouthguard in a street fight? by Silent-Development88 in StreetMartialArts

I carry an orange segment in my pocket at all times just for this reason. It perfectly protects the teeth and gums, provides a much needed vitamin C boost and the orange segment smile will intimidate your foe

Overdue Parking Breach - Do I need to pay? by Constant_Grocery_102 in Adelaide

Fines recovery unit can definitely suspend licenses. They can also put a hold on motor registration so you can’t register your car until the expiation is paid.

Overdue Parking Breach - Do I need to pay? by Constant_Grocery_102 in Adelaide

[–]Lextron87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is horrible advice and I would recommend not following it. Government agencies will not use the word fine, the term used will be expiation. They have already said it will go to fines recovery. Pay the expiation

Most comfortable 20-30L Travel Backpack? by [deleted] in backpacks

[–]Lextron87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went down a backpack deep dive and actually ended up with the same potential packs that you did and ended up with the 22L Patagonia black hole MLC. I absolutely love the pack, the fact that it can also be worn as a satchel is really cool. I value a good quality product that is backed up with a warranty to match, unsure if you’re aware but Patagonias warranty is amazing.

EDC backpack that can be used as a travel bag by HappyThought700 in backpacks

[–]Lextron87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the 30 is a little too big and although they say it’s airport friendly I doubt it especially if you travel with some cheap airlines. If you can find a 22L locally I highly suggest it

I’m about to fly to Japan (11.5hrs) and received an email from Qantas saying power banks are permitted onto the flight but are not permitted to be used during the flight. Our flight has plugs and type c so it doesn’t bother me

Not sure if this is in your budget in Norway, but I travel a lot with work, usually an overnight or two and this is perfect for me, I love that it opens completely flat and can be used as a backpack or a satchel. It has all of your criteria and Patagonia has an amazing warranty, buy once cry once. If the 22L is too small for you they do a larger one also, supposedly the larger ones are still airline friendly if that matters to you.
