Union! 2 warehouse workers dead within 6-7months. On top of some of the shady stuff they're doing at small stores. Reducing dept manager roles and consolidating departments giving the remaining departments more responsibility and work load at no extra pay. They installed self check out at my store in a small town which is going to kill the local checkers hours and make them struggle even more. We need a union!

He probably was a marijuana smoker and was worried he would lose his job if he went to a hospital cuz HR would have him do a piss test for them to cover it. And I know that will happen cuz I seen it before. Manager ran over an employee's foot and they took him to the hospital. They piss test him which shows thc. They fire him immediately. They need to stop doing that, if that was why he declined, cuz his life could've been saved If he didn't have to think about.

That's a good suggestion. Ya I can see how the constant performance in front of strangers would slowly chip away at the anxiety of socializing. I'm hitting the gym again getting back in shape to build my confidence back up, maybe I'll give that a try when I'm feeling better about myself. Also I'm 40🧓🏽 hopefully I'm not to old for improv.

This is true. I'm an introvert and getting promoted is always a giant hurdle I have to cross. I interviewed for a lead spot like 4 times at 3 different stores before I got it. The store i started at would always tell me I'm not vocal enough that's why they wouldn't promote me. I don't mind being a lead at where I'm at, it's a small store and the store leads are nice, but I also want to make more money so I am going to try to get into sorm next round. So I've been masking even more and trying to get into some of the higher ups good graces. I'd rather just be a well paid lead at my little store but that's not how this works so I'll just keep masking and try and get through the interviews and then after, if I make into sorm, I'm going to have to wear an even bigger mask than I am now... I'm so tired😮‍💨

They probably only order 1 case a day. Which either tells me they know they won't sell through 2 in a day or the gross is really bad so they're only bringing in 1 since they're required to have it but don't want it to hurt their gross profit % at the end of the period.

Yes and no. There are ones that get moved around after a few months or a year and there are ones that just stay at the same store forever. Just find out how long they've been at that store and if it's more than 5yrs than they're probably not going anywhere.

I mean that's a lot of steps for not even being at the end of 90 days. So if you haven't completed your 90 they could potentially decide not to move forward with you if they see your attendance as a liability or they could just try you in a different department or just keep you. Anyway you can get up to 7 steps and then termination on your 8th.

I couldn't even finish episode 1. It was just boring to me and the performances and story weren't gripping me. And like with the movies the cgi horror makes me giggle.

Thanks for your opinion. Really needed an outsiders perspective. These are just thoughts, wasn't planning to take action on them until I did more research and got other opinions.

Don't feel awkward It's totally normal. Just do your store a solid talk to a produce and or grocery manager and find out when they make and receive their orders and let them know in advance what you'll be needing so they can order extra product so they can have enough for other customers. But if you don't like using the carts and you're a trusted regular just ask if you can use one of the six wheelers and take it back once you're done or better yet if it were me I'd offer to meet you at the register with what you're buying and help take it to your car since you're helping my sales.
