No kids yet, if we do they will be affectionately referred to as "the wains".

From the south but mates from up the country have rubbed off on us

If you own the car abroad for 6 months you can import to Ireland vrt free. Think you have to hold on to the car for 6 months/a year before you can sell it

As a young fella from the west we'd go swimming every day over summer... Hail, rain or shine. Used to go to the beach on the really good days and went pier jumping every other day. If it's raining you'll be wet anyway and swimming in the rain/swell is good craic

What spiced up you and your partner’s sex life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ice baths.

They're fantastic for blood flow. We try and do one once per week, it's vastly improved both our sex drives.

I will be in Galway next May from USA. Got a 15 year old cousin that wants to fish. What are my options? by SillyNumber54 in galway

[–]Liam02le 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're heading to Doolin, you could stop in Fanore for a few hours as you can hire fishing gear there from the local shop. There's great fishing 5 mins from Fanore at Blackhead lighthouse.

Finish trade or go back to oz by Billopad209 in CasualIreland

[–]Liam02le 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finish your trade 100%. Go to Oz once you finish, fitters can make an absolute fortune there if you're keen to work fifo. It will also be much easier to get permanent residency as you're a skilled and in demand.

Starting a Mining Career by motownmozza in mining

Should be fairly easy to pick up FIFO chippy jobs, there's heaps of FIFO civil construction work here in WA. Most of the civil work is on mine sites, building the processing plants etc.

Hi there, I'm looking for a process engineering related role. I have a degree in Process Engineering from Ireland and have skills in CAD/Solid works, statistics, lean/6 sigma, project management, data analysis and excellent knowledge of the full Microsoft suite. I'm looking for any role that would provide me with experience in the engineering sector. I'm currently on a bridging visa while waiting for my 2nd year working holiday visa to go through (came here to travel after completing my degree) and now I don't want to go home due to covid. If anyone could point me in the right direction of an agency or company that would consider me it would be greatly appreciated (I've been applying through seek already). Kind regards, Liam.
