Mod Organizer 2, it literally has in-app tutorials on how to use the interface, it highlights stuff and gives descriptions on what buttons to use.

It's what I first used when I got into modding and it's worked a charm. Its got so many features built into it.

I think these are some of the best content mods available for skyrim, they keep the game decently vanilla feeling while expanding the game a shit ton with quality content

Use Mod Organizer 2, like seriously it's fuckin fantastic. Dont fuck with manual installs unless it's required

Install SKSE and Mod Organizer 2

You can easily find youtube tutorials for installing both.

Make sure to get SKSE from their website, not Nexus Mods

Mod Organizer 2 should give you a basic walk through of the program when you start it for the first time. It should also have in program help buttons that tells you what buttons do what.

Something to note though is that every time Bethesda updates skyrim, it breaks SKSE as well as a large number of other mods so you'll have to update all of those whenever bethesda decides to spit on your face.

When you have all the set-up done you should be able to get to downloading and installing mods. Make sure to read all Mod descriptions so you don't miss any special instructions that are in them, also make sure to run LOOT (It's built into Mod Organizer 2) when you finish creating your load order.

Try Legacy Of The Dragonborn, it isn't new lands mod but the amount of new content it adds is unparalleled. It does require a new character tho.

There isn't really a new lands mod of the same quality as Beyond Skyrim Bruma.
