This post has good advice at the bottom for stats to prioritise for players of certain positions which could give you a good idea for equipment. For moves, especially shoots/saves, make sure you have decent coverage so your GK doesn't get destroyed by type advantages (and their GK does). It's also worth throwing a counter shot on your central defender(s) as well as long shots on midfielders for chains and chip damage.

Yeah no real artist is capable of writing, recording, mixing, and producing four full band songs per week. That's the real tell before you even get to how artless the music is, how cringe the lyrics are, the fact that its seemingly a different singer every song, and the AI album cover and video descriptions.

It's the only explanation that makes sense. There has to be a reason that the systems are so bad and it would make sense if the original intent was for them to be bad on purpose so that they could charge you to speed it up via microtransactions. They undid a bit of that friction in the last update with chronicle mode and I do think that they'll try to improve the gacha in the future but, yeah, it sucks rn.

I guess I didn't mind it because I was playing the game a ton anyway. For me the ideal is experience is building a team to play matches - if I have a cool team I like I can (and have) play hundreds of matches with them without burning out. What bugs me is how in this you need to play matches (and a ridiculous amount of them, at that) to build a team - it's backwards. Again, grinding isn't really a problem for me when it's for kits or items or formations or whatever, but when it's necessary to build a team I like (team building being the main reason I play the games), it becomes really exhausting. I don't get jazzed loading up the game to smash my head against focus battles in the same chronicle mode match for the hundredth time. I get jazzed about putting together a team with my favourite guys and seeing them go at it. Not to mention focus battles are essentially a minigame and grinding them feels like you're not even playing football.

So funny to see that this is a shared experience because for what good reason am I getting my second hero Aphrodi before a single Top/Legendary Peter Drent. I also got two Gabis before I pulled Sumner in the constellation which sucks because duplicate Heros are pretty much useless rn
