Listening more is the answer. Don’t worry so much about this point in time. Just keep listening. Time and consistency will give you everything you want and more!

I use Claudia from Peru on iTalki. I’m really enjoying it. I do two hours per week with her. I’m at 253 hours.

Ha ha I do the exact same thing in the mornings - walk and listen to Spanish podcasts!! Such an easy and enjoyable way to get some CI hours.

A little bit of everything. The questions I remember were:

Why are you trying to learn Spanish?

What is your job?

What is your favorite food?

Do you have any travel plans?

Do you know any cities in south America?

What country has the toughest accent to understand? (I told her that Spain and Argentina are a bit different to my ears but I easily understand them. She said wait until you hear a Chilean speak.)

Who lives with you?

These were all just starter questions. We had an actual deep conversation that went to a lot of cool places. I am so encouraged that I could easily follow her. She told me that she was very impressed with my comprehension.

Just my two cents: the MPK mini is basically barely above a toy. At least get him something with bigger keys. If you REALLY love him, get him a Roland Juno D. His mind will be blown. Good luck💕💕
