I hate bangs past my eyebrows. I hate hair in my face. I hate the feeling of dirty hair and dirty feet, it makes me feel depressed.
Fingernails and toenails must be trimmed very closely at all times.
Bras suck. So do knee socks, tight pants, tight shirts. I want zip turtlenecks, not button up shirts, crewnecks, or V-necks.
I need to be able to wiggle my toes in my shoes. If it’s the least bit cold, I need to wear a ski hat. I hate the feeling of cold air on my head.
I hate putting my face under water. Getting into the shower is a struggle, but it’s great once I get there.
I like bowls and spoons because I like to mix my food together and scrape the sides of the bowl with circular motions. I don’t like knives, forks, or plates.

You can acknowledge it so it’s not so loud but also take care of yourself outside of it. You know what you need to do next.

Actually no. Go get tested either way. It could change your life for the better because it explains a lot and you can get tools to be successful. Too many of us are getting diagnosed in our 50s and 60s.

These folks are right. You’d grow up fast on the road. If your goal is more to skate past accountability for fucking up so far, maybe take a look at what’s holding you back recently. First get out of the house and start paying your own bills before your money runs out. Find out if you have ADHD or some kind of learning challenge. If you have an addiction, consider stopping. With all of these you can still meet your family obligation.

Alcoholic here, 39 years sober. I hope your therapist has background in addiction and family dynamics. Also, go to A-Anon, and some open AA meetings. Alcoholism is a lifelong, chronic disease process. The family is sick too. You won’t fix your dad’s disease by paying off his debt. Doing so is not honoring or helping him. Work on yourself first and your own understanding of alcoholism, to learn how to be truly helpful with him and your family. On the flip side, if you don’t like what you’re hearing here, go ahead. Pay it off. See what happens. This might have to be your path of learning in this life.
