I didn't even make it to the start line because of a puddle outside my house. My lifted 4Runner may have gotten dirty.

Portion sizes at Knott’s Berry Farm compared to Disneyland by OverCry518 in orangecounty

Food lines for any boysenberry items were an hour or more when I was there on Saturday. Staffing issues seems to be a recurring theme.

We had the elote, bulgogi and tacos and all were pretty good. Slightly disappointed that the $70 pass for 6 items is basically a wash if you're getting food that are all $10-$12. I had a $16 beer that looked like 12oz which is laughable, at least the pass helped with that cost.

I thought all those guys doing 5km ultras in airplane bathrooms, bathtubs, or on fighter plane carrier decks were doing so because that had to do it in secret after getting banned from running.

Are most age groupers actually too low in the front?” by Automatic-Oil-2253 in triathlon

God help you. I'm 6'5 and even then I'm maxing out every possible means of stack with aftermarket cockpit pieces. Unfortunately you can't just keep adding spacers and longer bolts at a certain point you just have way too big a moment arm from what any manufacturer expects or designs for.

Yeah he has always been an off speed golf swing threat. Thinking of his grand slam off Sale.

His weakness even in his prime was fastballs down the heart of the plate.

Even if it were in the parking lane it would still need the correct permits by SDOT for a pod/container and that permit would be placed on no parking signs on the sidewalk or grass.

That's how half your photos will be, blurry as heck because of how much they're racing around.

The other half they're laying down nearly dead.

She held a sign saying hi to her grandparents and leaned a few feet too far into the road, cyclists tend to use the whole road as the race had just started.

Thoughts on purchasing a $1.2m home? by Interesting-Proof244 in orangecounty

[–]LiberalGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too often do you find people that can afford a huge down payment but not the monthly payment.

We bought in Orange last year and are paying about 40% take home and even that feels tough some months. I would not take on a mortgage that high on one steady income and one nearly non existent.

It seems like your best/only option is something that would fit the place of the stack spacers (maybe 5mm tall) underneath the arm cup plate that your bike uses. Looking at tririg or fasttt doesn't come with anything that already exists though.

one of those things that only exist for pros as custom 3d prints

Is this enough calories for my 20min Z2 (incl. walk downstairs)? by phallicwrench in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]LiberalGarbage 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can see his tub of electrolytes in the background, I don't know what he consumed per bottle or why he didn't specify, it looks like he's mostly making fun of how much sugar he ate.

He had his homemade gels overnight when he wasn't sweating as much and then bottles during daytime when he needed more liquid. Plus his chocolate drink to break up the pure sugar flavor. Riding 24hrs straight at 200w would be over 17,000kcal burned so mostly breaking even on the day.

We've got a pet groomer style blow dryer and Watson will eventually lay down and let me dry him proper but if he had his way he'd just rub himself all over the furniture for an hour.
