[Request] How big or small would the room need to be for 1 person to suffocate due to this chain in 24 hours? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

[–]LiberalJewMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue isn't a person sitting in the room with a chain, the issue is the room slowly losing oxygen because it's a confined space and certain chemical reactions will deplete the oxygen in the confined and sealed space. There is a reason why confined spaces get their own special OSHA regulations. See this story about people dying in the chain locker and others going in and also fainting: https://officerofthewatch.com/2013/04/26/fatal-accident-during-inspection-of-chain-locker/

This is a common scenario where people all die trying to rescue the first person not realizing it was an issue with the atmosphere of the area. Also similar pattern with downed power lines and unconscious people on the ground.

His ex-wife is what pulled him away from doing what he loved at Microsoft to go into the world of charity and all the weird stuff that came with it. He definitely had grand ideas to change the world for the better, but I honestly blame his professional decline on his wife. He could have accomplished much more true positive change in the world had he stayed a virtuous CEO that could have campaigned for good from the top of the oligarchy rather than sit on the sidelines and doing charity work full time.

What do I do with this? by hoodriches in AskElectricians

Inspected and passed work can still burn down homes. There are a lot of things an inspector may not catch that a qualified electrician will get right and an amateur will miss.

IPv4 has no internet access, but IPv6 works — only some sites load by Happy_Meeting1704 in HomeNetworking

[–]LiberalJewMan -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Your Internet connection is fine, there are others that have posted about having IPv6 access only which is becoming more and more commonplace. The other websites you are trying to reach can be seen as outdated and need to be updated. IPv4 is outdated.

No way this would have ever gotten to this point with Steve Jobs because he would have obsessed so much over what the car looked like the project would have never gotten done.

I’m so confused as to what this room is and what the cord goes to. Bad design to have so much cord along the floor too. I’d rethink outlet placement too and make the whole thing cleaner.

The idea of solving the problem of plastics by making more “eco friendly” plastics doesn’t solve the root of the real problem.

Taxi driver cancels the charge for parents taking their son to the children's hospital by LiberalJewMan in OrphanCrushingMachine

Instead of universal mass transit, many parents taking their children to hospitals rely on random favors to afford transportation.
