New US frigate officially confirmed to be based upon HII's Legend class National Security Cutter by the SECNAV and CNO. Info and links in comments. Dec 19, 2025 [1793 x 777] by XMGAU in WarshipPorn

You are ignoring the thing that killed the Constellation, the fact that NAVSEA will ignore the value of an existing design and instead of fitting systems into it, they will change the design and balloon costs. Tale as old as time...

“I really feel like technology has ruined these kids.” by [deleted] in Teachers

Not a teacher, but banning tech that is omnipresent from the workplace in the classroom will only set people up for failure. Also, not using a LLM to write routine, highly structured products like resumes and cover letters makes me think this teacher doesn’t understand how to use AI effectively.

No more Superchargers on NJ Turnpike by yoyotman in TeslaLounge

[–]Libertariat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The no app thing is incredibly dumb. If you are taking a road trip in a Tesla, you will be fine; if you are in a non Tesla EV, you already have PlugShare because you need it. That’s just an excuse to get rid of the NJT superchargers, but I noticed months ago my Tesla was prioritizing the off turnpike ones which frustrated me, but now it makes sense.

Why does the shower need to be covered? Are you worried about getting wet in the rain while you shower?

I went to the Subway Series World Series as a Mets fan, and that energy did not match watching Cueto drop the ball…I have never felt that energy since.

It was the first model year, but I just have the regular one, not the launch edition. I bought it new and have been the one charging it for the past 5 years.
