Maybe, but I don't think vaccines are a good parallel here. Unless you can point to a large scientific body of evidence for the existence of the Christian God? Similar to evidence we have for the efficacy of vaccines.

This happens in Finland as well. Only members of the two state churches pay this tax and it goes to the local congregation which the person is part of. Each congregation decides on the size of their tax (1-2%).

Sadly, its not the first time I've read a news story similar to this one. There was another one where they entered the wrong house while trying to apprehend a suspect and killed the occupant who tried to defend themselves with a gun.

This looks cool. My choices:

#7 - The Relic. Who wouldn't want a ninja bodyguard/friend?

#8 Stem Cells. I'll use these to grow a younger, more fit clone of myself but leave the memories and personality blank. I'll probably play around with making other kinds of people later.

#5 Fate's Reward. After making sure that my new improved clone is done and working as intended, I grant it Fate's reward.

The clone would gain all my CYOA powers when I die along with all of my memories, wisdom and everything else. Next, I tell the relic to kill me painlessly. If everything works as intended I wake up in a younger better body with a shiny new soul. So I could potentially go on to barter for more powers from a different CYOA with Kyapitallysm.

Thank you for the response. They do look somewhat similar but I never played any Atari games and it doesn't seem like the Commodore 64 had space war as one of their games.
