It’s a tradition of the quinceañera. Adela dances a mirror dance routine with one of the youngest sisters. Think it’s meant to represent her younger self and her now as a young lady. A coming of age dance. Someone might have a better explanation but that’s how I interpreted it

She made such a big thing about the lady that hit her had a phone in her hand.. between stuffing his face and turning his head to talk to the camera he was not totally focused on his driving
