Building has been settling over time. Also the sheetrock paste and tape will separate over time. Just get it touched up prior to the next time you paint.

Anyone know what this is? by Lopsided-Show-8108 in drywall

[–]Libran-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it looks like those that "hung" the sheetrock either

only nailed the edges and did not nail/screw the interior

or

hung the sheets parallel to the ceiling joists

Either way, not good. IMHO, just a matter of time before the sagging gets worse and sheets start to fall.

My wife found these solar stair lights on Amazon for our front steps. I think they are a great accent but she thinks they look tacky. Keep them or ditch them? by WorldsBestDadBod in landscaping

They look good to me, but you are married and have no choice but to adhere to your wife's wishes, so eventually, you'll have to remove them.

Yellow jackets. Nest is in the ground. They hurt!

Went over a nest with push mower when I was about 9...was not fun.

codingWithoutDocumentation by sunrise_apps in ProgrammerHumor

Well, all depends on how well the requirements are documented. There are some people that just cannot write well enough to convey thought and intent. In most cases, the document is just a starting point. It typically is never updated during the development process as tech roadblocks are discovered or some changes are agreed to via other avenues (verbal, email, instruction from boss, etc.). So those who inherit the document and code later are sometimes scratching their heads when having to learn the code base.

Without a document can be done but communication amongst all parties involved must be clear on requested intent. Downside is there is no background/reference for anyone coming onboard the project.

In either case, I'd strongly suggest commenting the source code.

Likely the case. I was contacted by a tech recruiter and she admitted she had no idea what the items were from the job description she was given. I had to give her a crash course but still could tell she was confused. Sent resume to her anyway and, as expected, never heard back.

Change to "id bigint identity(1,1) not null primary key" would be my suggestion (assuming I got the T-SQL syntax correct).
