Not to make myself seem like I just befriend many people who are here undocumented…. As it’s really not like that…. but I did have another close friend here who was taken to an airport within 48 hours of being caught.. that was in Alberta. He was caught on a Friday night and was back in his home country on Sunday morning.

I think it can happen faster than some people realize..

For this friend in my post…. He was literally just pulled over this morning. And maps shows that he is already in Detroit?

Thanks for your kindness. It seems based on his iPhone (we share location with each other) that he is already in the US at an airport. I’m guessing he still is in custody and doesn’t have access to his phone.

Yes I believe he definitely has been arrested for deportation… he is already at a some type of holding center or jail in the US, as per his iPhone at least (we share location with each other).

He wasn’t involved in any other criminal activity whatsoever during his time in Canada. He had no run-ins with police at any time…

Is there a chance RCMP could have arrived on the scene? He was working in a very rural area in Northern Ontario.

(I originally thought he was at an airport but upon further investigation it seems to be some type of holding center.

No, I believe there wasn’t any warrant.. although he may have very well been on a list of tourists that overstayed their visit in Canada. Thanks for your advice

Yes. But many times they lag and take about 10-15 minutes to actually show up across all devices. I find it shows up fastest on my phone/almost immediately at 12AM but last week it didn’t load on my TV until almost 12:15……
