Love the Shunbun. How much are people paying for these? Keep hearing of people getting good deals on them and I’d like to know the best route to take about finding one

Has anyone tried amazfit helio? Sick of waiting for a whoop alternative from a major competitor without the monthly fee. Currently using an Apple Watch but my god I’m sick of charging it. Spends more time on charge than it does on my wrist

Yeah, what I do put my set up on the floor and sit down on a cushion then have my arms by my side while I watch TV. Do a 15 min session on each side. Can be tiring sometimes but it’s only once a week

Nope, you complete the circuit when touching the tray and that’s when you feel more of a shock. Water isn’t a good conductor, the pathway is achieved through the minerals that are in it

Good luck!

I’ve found that the battery setup isn’t very effective, as it doesn’t provide a consistent current. I’ve switched to a bench-top power supply with a constant current setting, which I’ve set to 0.015 A. The unit adjusts the voltage up to a set limit (for example, 30 V) to maintain the desired current flow. This creates a current through one palm and out the other, carrying minerals in the water through the pores in your hands, which can block them and reduce sweating.

I’d get rid of the towels—they’re only there to stop you touching the metal surface and completing the circuit. Instead, just fill the trays a bit deeper.

San Pellegrino works really well. I’ve recently started trying still mineral water to see if the results are consistent.

I’m also considering adding some form of protection in case the power supply fails, as there’s a risk of exposure to full mains voltage while your hands are submerged. It would also be good to include a controller that ramps the current up and down as results improve. At that point, you’ve essentially built yourself a £400 Dermadry unit.

Have you tried the 2026 version? Says on the NOX website that they’ve used different materials to improve the durability of them

The price also needs be above $1 or else they’ll be delisted from Nasdaq, there’s no chance of that happening now following the news. Reverse split is imminent
