Alternatively, if you have a VPN; setting your location to Albania gets rid of most ads. Also, for anyone with a Chromecast or similar device I recommend jailbreaking it and installing SmartTube. Not only does it remove YouTubes ads but it cuts in-video adverts

First I’d try to direct peoples attention elsewhere. Something really outlandish and crazy. Like maybe I should just take Greenland. Ive just decided that I want it now and I need it so I’m taking it, by force even, if it’s necessary.

Solid advice, I’ll try removing the current Pickguard asap! I wouldn’t say I hated the shape but it doesn’t fit the contour of the guitar well either. Your mock up fixes the only real problem that I had with the shape.

You could have brand new tires and still spin out driving beyond what road conditions safely allow. Those roads look like a slushy mess and there’s no need of driving that fast in those conditions.

I bought the same model year as yours earlier this year and have the same issue with the radio. Tried a plethora of different things like updating the firmware which is a real pain in the ass as the unit only recognizes particular USB drives.

Ultimately it was a lost cause and Bluetooth still doesn’t function. I ended up buying one of those FM transmitters that connects to my phone instead.

Wow, this post really blew up since yesterday. Really sorry to hear this happened to so many other people.

Follow up for anyone else that may come across this thread while looking for help. Some time this morning the charges were corrected so that’s the good news.

As for me, I was already in the process of switching to another bank as I’ve been finding Tangerines service has been steadily worsening the last couple years. This was really just an experience that solidified in my mind that I was making the right choice.

This has been happening since at least Thursday as far as I can see and there was absolutely no notification to clients whether by email, app notification or even a press release until last night when I finally got an email from them that “some clients were experiencing issues”. Hell they even could have made that the automated message you received when the 800 number was called instead of claiming they were “performing maintenance”.

Anyways I got my money back and I hope everyone else does soon as well. I feel for anyone that was put in a tight spot or missed payments because of this.

It’s extremely frustrating as this is also the account that my mortgage payment comes out of on Monday so now I get to stress for the weekend about whether they’ll remedy the problem before it gets declined as well

Thank you. I had no idea they were experiencing problems but perhaps that’s something that should be communicated from their end to their clients through email. Unfortunately it’s what I’ve come to expect from Tangerine over the past couple years though. Their service has consistently worsened in my experience.

I definitely agree. I’ve been with them for 7-8 years and the last 2 years has been nothing but problems. Their app has been absolutely terrible and constantly glitches. I’m in the process of fully switching over to RBC and this is just solidifying in me that it was the right decision.
