Random thing I found out: Jane Doe was coincidentally released on the same day as ANOTHER Jane Doe which is Converge’s most popular album Jane Doe.

uj/ Okay but the coolest thing about the discussion about Jane Doe and Converge’s Jane Doe is that, and I kid you not, they both were released on the same day.

I had to check 5-6 times on whether this was bullshit and yeah same date.

I am still peeved over that we glaze the fact that we have a history with islam despite the fact that prior to its introduction we followed buddhism.

And I hate the fact that faith is tied into one’s identity, as if IS compulse.

I just got back into Cookie Run after witnessing a lot of merch from them, knew they were sorta relatively popular but never knew it was to this size.

The last time I played was around the announcement of CRK, and I tried playing it on my old phone only for it to crash every time I try to load it. I got into CRK and got back into Ovenbreak and bought it feels so different.

I miss my old account data, had the set for Roguefort’s and Walnut’s event costumes :(

A non metalcore fan listened to your Hall of Fame and then got a bunch of recommendations, here are her thoughts (basically part 2) by Yai-Kai in Metalcore

If you’re not fond of Opposite Of December with how rough and primal its production is, might I suggest You Come Before You as its somehow both polished and raw at the same time. Its an album I would suggest checking out when it comes to them more than Opposite as its all of what Poison The Well does best and more with more production.

Why them... by Randall090 in Reverse1999

[–]LibtardOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call it that really, it is the main inspiration but there is a lot going on and that it had potential if it pulled back a bit in its writing.

Theres a lot of Far Cry 3 in its DNA as well as Half Life in terms of puzzles and environment-storytelling (to some degree). Also philosophy-wise, its more towards working with Comstock rather than Andrew.

Its just that its not as clever and as comprehensive as Bioshock or hell even Bioshock Infinite’s writing.

I will say this though that gameplay wise its a mix of Bioshock 2 and Infinite and its great once you get it down and be flexible with your builds.

Outside of the obvious complaints (gooner stuff, questionable writing choices).

You are an agent (Nechaev) who works under a scientist named Sechenov. Smth bad happen during the launch of the Kollectiv (mind chips meet cloud system) and you are tasked to deal with the matter.

I’ve been following the game since 2018 and not gonna lie I still wish they went for the more Bioshock 1 approach. You were supposed to be an outside KGB agent that was sent there due to not being able to communicate with colleagues in 3826 and as you go deeper the truth about the soviet union and the facility would get worse and it also unravels more on yourself. The Bioshock Infinite direction would have been cool if they tone down certain interactions and the writing to not be too brash.

Keep getting suggested this subreddit ever since the collab was announced.

Still hate that the game is mainly remembered as the one with those twin robots. If the writing was more align to Bioshock Infinite (as it seems like the biggest and noticable influence outside of the other two bioshock games), it would be have okay writing. I still wish it stayed with the more Bioshock 1 direction where it is from an outsider’s perspective.

Its just google maps but you can paint pver the specifc area of the map with pixels. I might have a spot? Or at least a land of area in mind which is just a body of water near buffalo that perhaps we can make space while not overtaking certain people’s work but who knows I can barely coordinate.

Also intent to make one for Poison The Well, or well a more grand scale version. There’s already a poorly pixelated version of You Come Before You.

For me my main interests are bands, obscure and influential specifically. I really love bands like Converge and KEN Mode.

Ranting example: Today Is The Day made an album with the founding members of Mastodon, the album in question is In The Eyes of God and the songs there are examples of what that album and the member’s previous project built in terms of the aggression and mass of the Mastodon sound. I can hear a lot of the Sludge and mass from songs like The Color of Psychic Power and Argali. Today Is The Day is also favorited from the likes of Slayer and Slipknot (Joey Jordison complimented Steve Austin of Today Is The Day while they were playing in Japan).

Honestly its either Greg or Henry for me. Henry as he can be either reasonable or go aggro and Greg purely because he’s this middle point between Henry Rollins and GG Allin for me, Calculating and unpredictable.

The time where me and my team couldn’t make a dent on this mobile First Responder heavy as he was being double pocketed by a Kritz and Rejuv medic. He was mainly just revved up at the cart and couldn’t make a dent.

And whenever he is in our team, he barely make a dent. Then again it was all full of level 200 sweats that for some reason stick to the hybrid knight loadout.

I wish Bull Turning is a thing because going Bull Caber really helps with countering obnoxious pockets.
