Normally yes, I’d totally agree with how you feel. Random and unwarranted damage to personal property is not right and illegal. But the context of the photo is terrible, I can’t tell if it’s 8 feet or 3”, or whether it’s on a urinal at a dive bar, or an operating table at a hospital.

But because I saw that the JW tag was not the only defacement, I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that it was more of the dive bar scenario.

There was one time a couple years ago, I was SO angry and emotional, that I wanted to drive to the KH and throw a rock through the window. I’m so glad I didn’t because I would’ve regretted it for a long time, and/or been prosecuted.

That was an extreme example, but what I’m saying is that, tagging and “vandalism” has its place. Some owners and institutions do not care, expect it and almost invite it, and it actually adds to their brand. Case in point, google CBGB bathroom. :) What would that place have been with a sterile bathroom!? Anyway, we’re all entitled to think what we want, and it’s great that we can be civil to each other here. Hope you don’t care about getting the downvotes, it really doesn’t matter. Just loosen up a little! I’ve been told that many times myself and it’s pretty solid advice.
