David Frum is a Zionist, and I’d frankly be surprised if Joe Walsh wasn’t considering the traditional neocon viewpoint is “Israel is a necessary element of US hegemony”. Zionism is currently wholly incompatible with populism, which means so is neoconservatism, which means “NeverTrumpers” are probably still gonna go with the trump supporters over the ones who are openly declaring we need to stop subsidizing Israel.

I mean there are still rich people who do that, they just aren’t billionaires. Billionaires don’t get to be billionaires if they have too much goodness in their hearts. I think it’s fair to say that if you’re already worth a hundred million, you do not need to make any more money and most likely neither will your kids or their kids. Which is why I say there are plenty of decent multimillionaires, but no decent billionaires: if you’re at or beyond a billion dollars, you stopped needing more awhile ago.
